SAFETY NOTICES AND WARNINGS
These operating instructions apply to the Degardo LUNOCS lighting range. They contain all information
necessary for ensuring smooth operations and maintenance. The notices and instructions in this
manual must be observed and followed.
Repairs to electrical components may only be carried out by a qualified electrician!

The components must be stored and handled in a safe and protective manner during the entire
installation.
INSTALLATION AND INITIAL COMMISSIONING
Mounting with the pedestal (Figure A)
1. Insert the plug and cable through the tubular sleeve
2. Slide the tubular sleeve completely over the lamp shaft.
3. Insert the plug and cable through the centre hole in the base plate.
4. Use the three screws and washers to attach the base plate to the aluminium base of the lamp.
5. Position the lamp upright. Plug the power cord into a conventional 230-V power socket.
Mounting with the wall bracket (Figure B)
1. Insert the plug and cable through the tubular sleeve on the wall bracket.
2. Slide the tubular sleeve completely over the lamp shaft.
3. Use the three screws and washers to attach the wall bracket to the aluminium base of the lamp.
4. Use suitable fastening materials (not included) to mount the wall fixture to the wall.
5. Slide the wall bracket onto the wall fixture. Insert the screw and washer through the slot and screw
the wall fixture onto the wall bracket. Tighten the screw until the wall bracket and lamp housing are
securely tightened to the wall.
6. Use two screws and washers to attach the bottom cover to the wall bracket (insert the screws
through the slots).
7. Plug the power cord into a conventional 230-V power socket.

Mounting with the base plate (Figure C)
1. Insert the plug and cable through the tubular sleeve
2. Slide the tubular sleeve completely over the lamp shaft.
3. Insert the plug and cable through the centre hole in the base plate.
4. Use the three screws and washers to attach the base plate to the aluminium base of the lamp.
Mounting and attaching to the base
1. Before installing the lamp at the desired location, make sure that the location's surface is sufficiently
stable and suitable for holding the screws.
2. The spacer feet on the underside of the base plate should remain mounted on the base, even for
permanent screw mounting.
3. There are three 7 mm holes in the base plate which are used for mounting the lamp. Choose
fastening material (not included) that is of sufficient strength and stability for your mounting surface.
4. Plug the power cord into a conventional 230-V power socket.

Mounting with the base sleeve (article no. 227 389; refer to Figure D)

1. Install the base sleeve in the ground. Align it in the proper position and fill in around it with a
suitable material.
Make sure that the access points are kept clear for the cable.

2. Guide the cable through the sleeve so that it comes out downwards or to the side.

3. Fasten the lamp's base plate (using the three screws; included in delivery) to the base sleeve.

4. Plug the power cord into a conventional 230-V power socket.

Mounting with the earthing anchor set (article no. 225 182; refer to Figure E)

1. Use the screw spikes to secure the base plate to a suitable surface (solid floor or lawn).
2. The base plate must be aligned horizontally.
3.
Mount the lamp and base plate (article numbers 221623, 221624) using the three screws and the
874/2012
earthing anchor.
4. Plug the power cord into a conventional 230-V power socket.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The surface can be cleaned with a dry cloth, with diluted household cleaner or with soapy water. For
effortless and excellent cleaning results you can also use the Degardo special cleaner, item 227679,
available in a practical spray bottle. This cleaner is optimised for the materials and surfaces of Degardo
products.
Do not use any cleaning agents containing solvents or gasoline!
REPAIRS
Repairs to electrical components may only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
The LED bulbs are permanently installed in the product and may only be repaired or replaced by
trained technicians. If repairs are necessary, send this product to your dealer or directly to Degardo.
The address can be found on the back of these operating instructions. Please enclose your complete
sender information, a copy of your receipt and a detailed description of the product's malfunction. The
warranty is not valid if improper, unauthorized repairs have been carried out.
DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL
The product is made of various components, which must be disposed of or recycled in accordance
with statutory regulations. Energy-saving lamps must be disposed of correctly. There are recycling de-
pots and collection points available nationwide, which accept old energy-saving lamps free of charge.
