Guitar Amplifi er GM-05
Item no. 44 27 01 / 44 27 13 / 44 27 15 / 44 27 16
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements.
Intended use
The guitar amplifi er is used for amplifying and reproducing the low-level electric output signals of electric
guitars.
The product is approved only for the connection to 220-240 V/50 Hz mains sockets in Schuko design on the
public power supply.
The product may be used only in enclosed indoor locations, never outdoors. Contact with moisture, for
example in bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any use other than that previously described is not permitted; furthermore, this is associated with a risk of
short-circuit, fi re, electric shock, etc.
The safety instructions have to be followed without fail.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect
handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty will
be null and void.
The lightning symbol in a triangle is a warning to inform you of potential risks of personal
injury, such as electric shock. The device contains no parts that should be serviced by
the user. Therefore, do not open the device.
In the operating manual, an exclamation mark inside a triangle indicates important
instructions.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the device.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation to the product is not permitted.
• As source of voltage only an approved mains socket (220-240 V / 50 Hz) in Schuko design connected to
the national grid system may be used.
• Before you plug in the mains plug, make sure that the voltage data indicated is compatible with the mains
voltage available. Do not connect the device if the data doesn't agree with the available mains voltage. The
wrong supply voltage may lead to irreparable damages to the device and involve risks for the user.
• The mains socket must be close to the device and easily accessible, so that the device can be quickly and
easily isolated from the mains power supply in the event of a fault.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, switch off the appropriate mains socket (e.g. via the
respective circuit-breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the socket. Do not use the product
afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Devices that operate on the mains voltage must be kept out of the reach of children. For this reason, be
particularly careful when using the device in the presence of children. They may try to stick objects into the
device, through openings in the housing. There is a life-threatening electric shock hazard.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Never position containers with liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, on top of the product or in its
vicinity. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore,
there is a signifi cant risk of fi re or a lethal electric shock! If this is the case, de-energise the appropriate
socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) before removing the plug-in mains unit from the socket. Afterwards,
the product can no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not place open sources of fi re such as burning candles on the appliance.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous plaything for chil-
dren.
Do not operate the device when it is unattended.
• Disconnect the device from the public power supply when it is not in use and before cleaning it (pull out the
mains plug!).
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to connect it safely, consult a
trained technician.
