2.2 HOW VOSS.SONIC 1200 WORKS
As soon as the motion sensor is activated, the device starts to emit a series of ultrasonic sounds based on the respective
setting of the „Frequency" dial. The animals will not stay in the area where they can hear the sounds, since they are very
unpleasant to them. The sound will only be triggered if an animal enters the operational area. This prevents the animals from
becoming accustomed to the noise, which further increases the repellent effect.

Important notice

The repeller emits ultrasonic sounds that are inaudible or barely audible to humans. According to the current research,
ultrasound does not cause any damage if the maximum level is below 140 dB and the average level, based on 8 h/day, is
below 110 dB. Our devices emit ultrasonic sound with the noise levels ranging between 80 and 120 dB. Continuous
operation of the units is not possible.
Ultrasonic waves can penetrate light building materials. The efficiency of the ultrasonic signal behind solid objects is
reduced. It may be necessary to set up several units to ensure complete coverage.

3. ASSEMBLY AND FIRST TIME OPERATION

The VOSS.sonic 1200 is powered by 3x AA batteries (not included).
The VOSS.sonic 1200 is splash-proof and can be used both indoors and outdoors. In dry places protected from water, you
can simply place the repeller on the floor. For outdoor use (e.g. in the garden), we recommend using the mounting post.
Hanging holes on the back of the device are for wall mounting. This way VOSS.sonic 1200 can be used wherever you need it.
For best effect, place this device facing the direction from which the animals come.
Attach the post to the device and insert it into the ground at a desired location. It can be difficult to insert the post the first
time around. However, this is normal. With a little practice, the assembly will be effortless.
Do not use tools, do not force the parts together.
