Intended Use
The product is a plunger style desoldering tool used to suck away molten solder. A cylinder with a spring-
loaded piston is pushed down and locks into place. When triggered by pressing a button, the piston springs
up creating suction to remove the molten solder. The device connects directly to a mains power outlet and
has a grounded power cable for additional safety during use.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use
can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store
them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Explanation of Symbols
The symbol with the lightning in the
triangle is used if there is a risk to your
health, e.g. due to an electric shock.

The product must only be installed and
used in dry, indoor locations. It must not
become damp or wet, as this may cause
a fatal electric shock!

information on proper handling in
this manual, we assume no liability
for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will
invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General Information
• The appliance is not to be used by
children aged from 8 years and above
or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision and
instruction.
• Children shall not play with the
appliance.
• Cleaning
or
maintenance
not be made by children without
maintenance.
• A damaged mains cable must only be
replaced by a specialist.
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach
of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around
carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children.
Protect
the
appliance
from
temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, steam and
solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical
stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product
safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer
be guaranteed if the product:`
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor
ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-
related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts,
impacts or a fall even from a low height can
damage the product.
Consult an expert when in doubt about the
operation, safety or connection of the appliance.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the
device. Maintenance, modifications and repairs
must only be completed by a technician or an
authorised repair centre.
If you have questions which remain unanswered
by these operating instructions, contact our
technical support service or other technical
personnel.
b) Electrical Connection

The mains outlet must be located near to the
device and be easily accessible.
Never pull the mains plug from the socket by
pulling at the cable. Always pull it from the mains
socket using the intended grips.
Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if
you do not use the device for an extended period
of time.
For safety reasons, always unplug the device
during thunderstorms.
Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed,
bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal
stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise
the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged.
First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then
carefully pull the mains plug from the mains
socket. Never use the product if the mains cable
is damaged.
To prevent risks, damaged power cables
may only be replaced by the manufacturer,
a professional workshop appointed by the
manufacturer, or a similarly qualified person.
Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when
your hands are wet.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip
over or become entangled in them. This poses
a risk of injury.
c) Operation
On first time use the desoldering iron may
shall
produce smoke, this is just water in the mica
heater evaporating. It is normal and should only
last for approx. 10 minutes.
Never touch the barrel (2) or nozzle (1) during
use. Risk of burns!
Never desolder live electrical components or
parts. Always switch off the power before-hand.
Do not cover or fasten any items to the
desoldering tool. Otherwise there is a risk of fire.
Touching or desoldering capacitors (or similar
components) or leads/cables that are connected
extreme
to capacitors may cause a fatal electric shock!
Capacitors may stay charged for several hours
after you switch off the power supply!
Always desolder on non-flammable surfaces.
Protect other materials nearby from damage
through heat.
Risk of fire or explosion! Do not use around or
near explosive or flammable materials.
Turn the power off and place the desoldering
tool on the stand while taking breaks or not
using.
d) Work Safety
Ensure that there is sufficient lighting.
Ensure proper ventilation during desoldering.
Solder and flux vapours can be harmful to your
health.
Wash your hands thoroughly after working with

Operation
Connect the power cord (6) to a power outlet.
Wait 5 minutes for the nozzle to heat up completely.
Load the plunger (5) by compressing it all the way until it clicks into place.
Risk of burns! Be careful not to touch any hot elements (1) or (2) while doing this.
Rest the tip (1) of the nozzle against the solder you wish to remove. When the solder melts, press the
plunger release button (4) to extract the molten solder.
Care and Cleaning
a) Cleaning
The plunger is spring-loaded, remove it
carefully.
Disconnect from the power supply and wait until
the heated elements have have cooled down
completely.
Compress the plunger (5) all the way, then lift up
to separate the collection chamber (3) from the
grip (7).
Empty the collection chamber (3).
Reverse the above steps to re-attach the plunger
(5) to the grip (7).
b) Care
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can
cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines. You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.

Do not put desoldered alloys into your mouth. Do
not eat or drink during desoldering.
Wear suitable protective clothing and safety
goggles when desoldering. Liquid/splashing
solder may cause serious burns or eye damage.
