This manual contains instructions for safety, operation and maintenance. It
is essential to read and follow all of the instructions. Failure to operate the

ated with caution and common sense and requires some basic mechanical
ability. This product is not intended for use by children without direct adult

CAUTIONS
• Always verify the required mounting screws type and length before in-
stalling. Using the wrong type of screw can cause damage to the threads
or the motor.
• Check the recommended gear ratios and input voltage for your motor, fail-
ure to do so may cause damage to the motor.
• Allowing motor operating temperature to exceed 80°C (176°F) may cause
permanent damage.

• The motor is not designed to be run in wet conditions. Exposure to water
can damage the motor.

When installing a new motor, it is recommended you reset or lower your
ESC's performance settings.
• Attach the motor to chassis using screws with the proper thread and
length type.
• Solder the ESC wires to the motor, respecting the ABC wire order.
• Connect the sensor wire to the sensor port of the motor.
GEARING
Use the correct gearing to avoid damage to the motor and risking voiding the

MAINTENANCE
You can clean out the motor and oil the ball bearings from time to time. Spare
parts are also available.
To disassemble the motor, 1. remove the five screws at the back of the mo-
tor, 2. pull out the back cover by pushing on the motor shaft from the front, 3.
remove the rotor.
Be careful not to lose the rotor spacers and re-install them in the same order.
TROUBLESHOOTING
