USB AUDIO PC INTERFACE
USB Connector
Connect the ADI-001L via the
USB connector to the computer.
Introduction
Thank you for having chosen the ADI-001L USB Audio PC
Interface that allows you to easily record digital audio on your
computer and play back recordings with superior sound quality.
Record your live mix or convert your old beloved analog files
through the 16 bit stereo USB port into digital files on your PC in
high fidelity quality. The ADI-001L requires no additional sound
card or driver installation and is directly compatible with Windows
and MAC.
Use the ADI-001L to transfer analog or digital audio to the
computer from a mixer, CD player or tape deck to create high
quality recordings. The interface also provides a convinient way to
play back audio from the computer through your home stereo
system. You can do without a bulky power adapter as the ADI-001
gets its power from the computer through the USB cable.
Installation
Computer USB port
Connect the ADI-001L through the USB cable to a USB port on
your computer.
The LED lights and indicates that the ADI-001L receives power
from the computer.
The ADI-001L requires no additional sound card or driver
installation and is directly compatible with Windows Win98SE/
WinME/Win2000/WinXP and Apple OS9.0.4/OSX.
Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98
As soon as the ADI-001L is connected to the computer, it is
recognized as a USB device and is automatically installed.
Sometimes it may become be neccessary to configure the
ADI-001L as default audio device on your computer manually.
Select "USB Audio CODEC" for input and output device under
Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Audio.
Mac OS X
As soon as the ADI-001L is connected to the computer, it is
recognized as a USB device and is automatically installed.
Under Control panels/Sound, "USB Audio CODEC" should now
be selected for input and output device.

The digital output of your computer is converted to analog and is
sent to these stereo RCA output jacks. Use these jacks to connect
the ADI-001L to the record input of your mixer, tape deck or CD
player, or connect it to the AUX inputs on your home stereo system.
USB connector ADI-001L
This LED lights to indicate that the ADI-001L is
receiving power from the USB bus and is ready
to send and receive signals. The computer must
be turned on and the ADI-001L must be connected
to a porperly functioning USB port on the computer.
LINE Input
RCA jacks. Connect your line sources like CD,
MP3, MD player, tape deck or mixer here. The
analog signals are converted to digital and are
sent to your

Applications
Recording audio on the computer from an analog source
Connect the ADI-001L to a computer with an available USB port.
Use a stereo RCA cable to connect the output of your analog audio
source to the input of the ADI-001L. Open the audio recording
software on your computer. Increase the source output until it
reaches the desired level.
Computer audio playback into analog equipment
Connect the ADI-001L to a computer with an available USB port.
Use a stereo RCA cable to connect the output of the ADI-001L to
the input of your analog audio equipment.
