Always use a vehicle-specific service literature, this you can see important
information such as torque values and additional information for disassembly and
assembly of the wheel bearing.
•
When mounting the wheel hub/bearing unit you must hear a click. The click
indicates that the holding claws of the hub-bearing unit jumped into holding slot of
the wheel bearing housing. If the wheel hub/bearing unit is not fitted properly, the
danger exists that the bearing has no firm hold in the wheel bearing housing. This
can lead to accident, serious injury and property damage.

D I S A S S E M B L I N G
Mount the dismantling shells (4) on
the wheel bearing housing with two
screws (9).
Hammer the bolts (3) carefully into
the mounting plate – the bolts (3)
have to be aligned with the wheel
hub's hole circle.
During the disassembly, the bolts
press against the mounting shells
(4) through the wheel stud holes.
Attach the dismounting plate (7)
sideways to the drive shaft and lead
the spindle (1) with the attached
mounting plate (2) from the front
through the wheel hub and the
dismounting plate (7).
