Safety Instructions
Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers. Damage
caused by manual modifications on this device is not subject to warranty. If the microphone is
used for other purposes than originally intended or if it is not correctly connected, the product may
suffer damages and the guarantee becomes void.
Protect the device against humidity and heat. The ambient temperature must always be between -5°
C and +45° C. The relative humidity must not exceed 50 % with an ambient temperature of 45° C.
Setting into Operation
Screw the shock mount on your microphone stand and insert the microphone from above. In case
of stands with 9 mm (3/4") thread fix the clamp via the supplied adapter screw.
Connect the microphone via a balanced microphone cable with 3-pin XLR plug to the XLR
microphone input equipped with +48 V phantom power of your audio unit (e.g. mixing console). If the
audio unit does not provide any phantom power, connect the microphone to the audio unit via a
phantom power supply unit (e.g. OMNITRONIC LH-051).
The microphone is equipped with a switchable high pass filter and input attenuation. Set the left
switch to "
" to activate the filter and attenuate low frequencies. Set the right switch to "-10 dB" to
attenuate the sensitivity by 10 dB.
For voice recordings, use the supplied windshield to protect the capsule from moisture.
