SAFETY INFORMATION

The STC operator is designed and intended for the automation of up-and over swing doors and sectional doors. Automatismos Pujol
disclaims all liability if the operator is installed on a different application not included in this manual. It is our duty to remind you that
you will carry out procedures to make changes in a manual operation door. These changes will result in an automatic door system
rated as machinery within the category of automatic doors, and are considered as hazardous procedures.
Regarding the current regulations, we advised you to read and understand pages 1-4 before starting installation works. It is your
responsibility to guarantee the utmost security of the automatic system. The CE mark of STC refers solely to the operator and not to
the entire system (operator, door, angles, etc.). The person in charge of the installation will be responsible for CE standard compliance
of the door-operator unit. The product should be installed only by qualified and trained personnel.

DESCRIPTION

The operator should be powered with 230V. It is equipped with a 24V DC motor with an encoder for operation control and
security purposes. When the door is moving, it can be stopped either by the integrated security system, a transmitter,
photocell, an external push-button or by manual release.
The encoder is used to determine the door's open and closed positions, to slow down the motion speed (thus to reduce the
noise generated at the end of the door course) and for security purposes.
The person in charge of the installation must be familiar with and install all the necessary accessory equipment in compliance
with the current regulations.
Those persons who carried out the product installation without observing the current regulations, will be responsible for any
damage or personal injury, and will assume the costs of any legal actions derived from such a breach.

For the operator start-up, the electronic system is fitted with a 433.92 MHz receptor that supports the programming of 20 remote
controls.

Before installing the operator, read all the instructions carefully and make sure you are familiarized with all security warnings provided
in this manual.
