Gewährleistung
Wir übernehmen für dieses Gerät (ausgenommen Lampen) für 5 Jahre vom Kaufdatum an volle Gewähr. Diese Gewähr-
leistung gilt für einwandfreies Arbeiten bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung und Beachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung.
Während der Dauer der Gewährleistung werden auftretende Fehler und Mängel am Gerät kostenlos beseitigt, soweit sie
nachweislich auf Material-, Verarbeitungs- und/oder Konstruktionsfehlern beruhen. Rügt ein Besteller einen Sachmangel,
so trägt er stets die Beweislast dafür, dass das Produkt bereits bei Erhalt der Ware mangelhaft war. Diese Gewährleistung
bezieht sich nicht auf solche Schäden, die durch Abnutzung, fahrlässigen Gebrauch, Verwendung von nicht Original-
HEINE-Teilen (insbesondere Lampen, da diese speziell für HEINE Instrumente nach folgenden Kriterien entwickelt wurden:
Farbtemperatur, Lebensdauer, Sicherheit, optische Qualität und Leistung), durch Eingriffe nicht von HEINE autorisierter
Personen entstehen oder wenn Vorschriften in der Gebrauchsanweisung vom Kunden nicht eingehalten werden. Weitere
Ansprüche, insbesondere Ansprüche auf Ersatz von Schäden, die nicht am HEINE Produkt selbst entstanden sind, sind
ausgeschlossen.
Bei Reparaturen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler, der das Gerät an uns oder unsere zuständige Vertretung
weiterleitet.
Warranty
We guarantee this device (except bulbs) for five years from date of purchase. We guarantee the proper function of the
unit provided it is used as intended by the manufacturer and according to the instructions for use. Any faults or defects
which occur during the guarantee period will be repaired free of charge provided they are caused by faults in material,
design or workmanship. In the case of a complaint of a defect in the product, the buyer must prove that any such defect
was present at the time the product was delivered. This guarantee excludes any defects which occur because of wear
and tear, incorrect use, the use of non-original HEINE parts, (especially bulbs, as these are designed with emphasis on
the following criteria: Color temperature, life expectancy, safety, optical quality and performance). Also excluded are
repairs or modifications made by persons not authorised by HEINE or cases where the customer does not follow the
instructions supplied with the product. Further claims, in particular claims for damage not directly related to the HEINE
product, are excluded.
For repairs, please contact your supplier, who will return the goods to us or our authorized agent.
Garantie
Nous garantissons cet appareil (sauf ampoules) pendant cinq ans à partir de la date d'achat. Nous garantissons le bon
fonctionnement de l'instrument fourni, s'il est utilisé comme prévu par le fabricant, en respectant le mode d'emploi. Tout
dysfonctionnement ou panne intervenant pendant la période de garantie seront réparés gratuitement, à condition qu'ils
résultent de défauts dans les matériaux, la conception ou la fabrication. En cas de réclamation pour un défaut du produit,
l'acheteur doit apporter la preuve que ce défaut existait à la date de livraison. Cette garantie ne s'applique pas aux
défauts provenant d'une usure normale, d'une utilisation incorrecte, de l'utilisation de pièces de rechange non d'origine
HEINE (spécialement les ampoules, qui sont conçues avec un soin tout particulier selon les critères suivants : Couleur
de température, longévité, sécurité, qualité optique et performances). Sont également exclues toutes les réparations ou
modifications faites par des personnes non autorisées par HEINE, ainsi que dans les cas où l'acheteur ne suit pas le
mode d'emploi fourni avec le produit. Toutes réclamations ultérieures, en particulier pour un dommage non directement
relié au produit HEINE sont exclues.

Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des HEINE BETA 200
durch und bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachschlagen auf.
Das Produkt muss einer getrennten Sammlung
von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten zugeführt werden.
Eine Gewährleistung für Sicherheit, Zuverlässigkeit und Leistung kann nur bei Verwendung in
Übereinstimmung mit der Gebrauchsanweisung übernommen werden.
Spekula
Die Spekula (1) werden so auf das Hauptteil (2) aufgesetzt, dass die Nocke in den Schlitz (3)
des Metalltrichters eingreift. Durch leichtes Rechtsdrehen ziehen Sie das Spekulum fest.
Vergrößerungs-Optik
Das BETA 200 VET Otoskop ist mit einer Schwenklupe (4) ausgerüstet. Bei geschlossenem
Lupendeckel können pneumatische Prüfungen mit einem Gebläse durchgeführt werden. Zum
Instrumentieren schwenken Sie die Lupe zur Seite.
Bei Verwendung der Lupe ergibt sich eine etwa 2,5fache Vergrößerung.
Lampenwechsel
Bitte beachten Sie: Die einwandfreie Funktion dieses Instruments ist nur bei Verwendung
von Original HEINE Ersatzlampen gewährleistet.
● Nehmen Sie das Kopfstück vom Griff ab und ziehen Sie die Lampen (5) am schmalen Rand

aus dem Führungsrohr des Anschlusssteckers heraus.
● Achten Sie vor dem Einsetzen der neuen Lampe darauf, dass die aufgedruckte Spannungs-
angabe mit der Ihres Griffes oder Ihres Netzanschlussgerätes übereinstimmt.
● Schieben Sie die neue Lampe bis zum Anschlag in das Führungsrohr.
Sterilisation und Reinigung
Otoskop-Hauptteil: Reinigung außen mit weichem Tuch, innen mit Wattestäbchen, ggf. mit
etwas Alkohol. Gassterilisation ist unbedenklich anwendbar, Eintauchen in Flüssigkeit ist nicht
zulässig.
Spekula aus SANALON S können mit allen handelsüblichen Mitteln gereinigt, desinfiziert oder
ausgekocht werden. Autoklavieren bis 134 °C ist uneingeschränkt möglich.

Avant de mettre en service l'otoscope BETA 200 VET, veuillez lire attentivement ce mode
d'emploi et le conserver soigneusement pour toute consultation ultérieure.
Ce produit électronique doit être recyclé selon
les lois en vigueur.
Nous ne pouvons assumer de garantie pour la sécurité, la fiabilité et les performances de l'appareil
que s'il est utilisé en conformité avec les instructions d'utilisation.
Spéculums
Les spéculums (1) sont placés sur la tête (2) de telle sorte que l'ergot s'enclenche dans la
fente (3) de l'entonnoir métallique. Pour serrer le spéculum, il suffit de lui imprimer une légère
rotation à droite.
Eléments optiques d'agrandissement
l'otoscope BETA 200 VET comporte une loupe pivotante (4). Après la mise en place de la loupe
pivotante, il est possible de procéder à des vérifications pneumatiques, au moyen d'une soufflerie.
Pour travailler avec des instruments, vous pouvez pivoter la loupe sur le côte, en fonction de vous
besoins.
Lorseque vous utilisez la loupe, vous obtenez un agrandissement d'environ 2,5 x.
Replacement des ampoules
Remarque importante: La Sté HEINE OPTOTECHNIK ne garantit le fonctionnement optimal
de l'instrument que si celui-ci est utilisé avec des ampoules originales HEINE.
● Enlever la tête d'otoscope vétérinaire de la poignée et retirer l'ampoule (5).
● Avant de mettre en place une nouvelle ampoule, veillez à ce que l'indication de tension im-
primée sur le culot corresponde à celle de votre poignée ou de votre transformateur.
● Enfoncez la nouvelle ampoule, dans le tube de guidage, jusqu'á la butée.
Stérilisation et nettoyage
Otoscope: Nettoyage à l'extérieur, au moyen d'un chiffon doux, à l'intérieur au moyen d'un
coton-tige, imbibé, le cas échéant, d'un peu d'alcool. On peut sans problème, avoir recours à
une stérilisation au gaz, en revanche, l'immersion dans un liquide est fromellement proscrite.
Les speculums en SANALON S peuvent être nettoyés, désinfectés ou bouillis avec tous les
produits courants. Désinfectés et stérilisés à l'autoclave.

Instructions for use
HEINE BETA 200 ® VET
Read these instructions carefully before using the HEINE BETA 200
safe place for future reference.
In accordance with local regulations this product
should be disposed of as an electronic device separately.
A guarantee for the safety, reliability and performance of this unit can only be made provided it is
used in accordance with the instructions below.
Specula
The specula (1) are mounted on the instrument head (2) so that the internal lug locates in the
slit (3) of the metal body of the instrument, and are then firmly fixed by a twist to the right.
Magnification optics
The BETA 200 VET otoscope is fitted with a swivel viewing window (4). Pneumatic insufflation
testing can be done with the window in position. The viewing window swivels to left or right to
facilitate instrumentation.
The viewing window gives approx. 2,5 x magnification.
Changing the bulb
Please note: The performance of this instrument can only be guaranteed if genuine original
HEINE bulbs are used.
● Remove the instrument head from its handle and pull the bulb (5) out of the head by gripping
the narrow rim at its lower end.
● Before inserting the new bulb, ensure that the voltage rating printed on it corresponds to that of
the handle or transformer power supply.
● Re-insert the bulb fully into the body of the instrument.
Sterilisation and Cleaning
Otoscope head: The outside can be cleaned with a soft cloth, the inside with a cotton-wool bud
moistened with alcohol. Gas sterilisation is permitted. The instrument should not be soaked.
Reusable SANALON S specula can be cleaned with all normal solutions and disinfectants and
can also be boiled. They can be autoclaved at up to 134 °C as often as required
