For your safety, please read the following text carefully.
This appliance is supplied with a molded three pin mains plug for your safety and convenience. A 3 ampere
fuse is fitted in this plug.
Should the fuse need to be replaced please ensure that the replacement fuse has a rating of 3 ampere and
that it is approved by ASTA or BSI to BS1362.
Check for the ASTA mark
If the plug contains a removable fuse cover you must ensure that it is refitted when the fuse is replaced.
If you lose the fuse cover the plug must not be used until a replacement cover is obtained. A replacement
fuse cover can be purchased from your local dealer.
If the fitted molded plug is unsuitable for the socket outlet in your home then the fuse should be removed
and the plug cut off and disposed of safely.
There is a danger of severe electrical shock if the cut off plug is inserted into any 13-ampere socket.
How to replace the fuse
The location of the fuse differs according to the type of AC mains plug (figures A and B).
Confirm the AC mains plug fitted and follow the instructions below. Illustrations may differ from actual AC
mains plug.
Open the fuse cover with a screwdriver and replace the fuse and close or attach the fuse cover.

For Garage Use

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using your garage equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
l Read all instructions.
l Care must be taken as burns can occur from touching hot parts.
l Do not operate equipment with a damaged cord or if the equipment has been dropped or damaged - until
it has been examined by a qualified serviceman.
l Do not let cord hang over edge of table, bench, or counter or come in contact with hot manifolds or mov-
ing fan blades.
l If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a current rating equal to more than that of the equipment
should be used. Cords rated for less current than the equipment may overheat. Care should be taken to
arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
l Always unplug equipment from electrical outlet when not in use. Never use the cord to pull the plug from
the outlet.
Grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
l Let equipment cool completely before pulling away. Loop cord loosely around equipment when storing.
l To reduce the risk of fire, do not operate equipment in the vicinity of open containers of flammable liquids
(gasoline).
l Adequate ventilation should be provided when working on operating internal combustion engines.
l To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use on wet surfaces or expose to rain.
l Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
l The Power Supply Cord is not provided for use in a garage environment.
When the computer is used in a garage environment, the user is to provide a suitable AC Cord or to pro-
vide a proper installation.
A Suitable AC Cord shall be of Types G, SO, SJO, SJEO, SJOO, SJTO, SJTOO, SO, STO or W. When
the cord is intended to be in direct contact with the floor surface, then types G, SO, STO or W should be
chosen.
