Replacing the lithium battery

The SBC board is equipped with a lithium battery. To replace the battery proceed
as follows:
1. Open the unit as described under "Installing Additional Cards" (steps 1–4).
2. Disconnect the data cables from and remove any additional cards which may
otherwise prevent access to the battery on the SBC board. (See "Installing
Additional Cards")
3. Press the ejector spring out from the battery and remove the battery.
4. Place the new battery into the socket, making sure that the plus pole faces
outwards. The lithium battery must be replaced with a battery of a type
identical to the factory-fitted original or of a type recommended by Kontron
Elektronik
5. Reinstall any previously removed additional cards and reconnect their data
cables.
6. Close the unit as described under "Installing Additional Cards" (steps 8, 9,
11).
