For installing an additional card
6. First remove the slot filler bracket from the unit chassis by loosening the
screw and pulling the plate out upwards.
7. Align the card with the slot, than firmly press straight down into the slot on the
backplane to ensure a proper fit. Make sure that the small perforated
screening strips are correctly in place before screwing the endplate of the
card to the unit chassis.
For removing an additional card
6. Remove the peripheral device cables connected to the card interface
connectors. Loosen the screw fixing the endplate of the card to the unit
chassis and pull the card out of the slot on the backplane.
7. Replace and secure the slot filler bracket with its screw to the unit chassis
making sure the perforated screening strips remain correctly in place.
Replace the card hold-down bracket and the top cover
8. Replace the card hold-down bracket and secure it using the retaining screws
(one screw an each side) (see Fig. 17).
9. Then replace the top cover and secure it to the back of the chassis with the
two captive knurled screws.
10. If you installed an additional card, connect prior the peripheral device cables
connected to the card interface connectors.
11. Replace the upper protection grill and tighten the two captive knurled screws
(see Fig. 18).
