Embossing Sandwich
1. Start with the Grey Base Plate (A) on the bottom and place the Spellbinders die template on top with the ridged cutting side facing up.
See fig 7.
2. Place the media on top of the die template, desired pattern facing down. See fig 7.
3. Cover with the Tan Embossing Mat, followed by the Pink Embossing Plate (B). See fig 7.
4. Keeping the Sandwich flat and straight, insert into the Grand Calibur tray.
5. Rotate the handle front to back until the sandwich comes out the other side of the machine. See fig 8.
6. Remove the sandwich.
Embossing Folder Sandwiches
Sandwiches for Spellbinders Em-bossing Fold'er™ and other embossing folders may require the Raspberry Adapter Plate (D). This is not
included with your Grand Calibur but can be purchased separately to expand the use of your machine.
3D Em-bossing Fold'ers™ Sandwich
1. Start with the Pink Embossing Plate (B) on the bottom.
2. Place the media inside the 3D Em-bossing Fold'er™ with the desired pattern facing away from the embossed surface.
3. Place the 3D Em-bossing Fold'er™ with the media inside on top of the Pink Embossing Plate (B).
4. Cover with the Raspberry adapter plate (D).
5. Keeping the Sandwich flat and straight, insert into the Grand Calibur tray.
6. Rotate the handle front to back until the sandwich comes out the other side of the machine.
2-Sided Em-bossing Fold'er™ Sandwich
1. Start with the Grey Base Plate (A) on the bottom. See fig 9.
2. Place the media inside the 2 -Sided Em-bossing Fold'er™ with the desired pattern facing away from the embossed surface.
Please Note: These folders are reversible so please ensure the media is inserted between the two sides of your chosen
design.
3. Place the 2-Sided Em-bossing Fold'er™ with the media inside on top of the Grey Base Plate (A). See fig 9.
4. Cover with the Raspberry adapter plate (D). See fig 9.
5. Keeping the Sandwich flat and straight, insert into the Grand Calibur tray.
6. Rotate the handle front to back until the sandwich comes out the other side of the machine.
7. Remove the sandwich.
