Inside Your Box
1. Spellbinders Grand Calibur
2. Grey Base Plate (A)
Before you start using your Grand Calibur Machine you will need to find a suitable workspace to use your machine. Ensure that your work
area has a clean, sturdy, flat surface with enough space to feed through the color coded plates.

Attaching the Handle

1. Place your Grand Calibur Machine, front facing on a sturdy, flat surface so that the metal post is to the right hand side of the machine.
You will notice the metal post has two flat sides – rotate this so the flat sides are facing the front and back of the machine. See fig 1.
2. Position the handle on the metal post matching the flat sides on the post with the flat sides of the handle's hole. See fig 2.
3. Press firmly to secure the handle onto the post. To remove the handle, simply pull the handle off.

Preparing the Machine

1. To secure the Grand Calibur Machine to your chosen surface, rotate the white lever at the front of the machine, clockwise. See fig 3.
Note: For best performance please ensure the base of the machine is kept clean.
2. Pull out the white tray inside the mouth of your Grand Calibur Machine. See fig 3. This is where your Cutting and Embossing
Sandwiches will be fed through.
