Always connect the plug and socket connections to the printer port and to the
CAN bus without voltage being applied.
PC interface and CAN bus are not electrically separated. In case of different
GND potentials between PC and CAN bus ensure a potential equalisation
(e.g. PC-GND/vehicle ground).
Software – CPC VCI-Driver
1.
Start Window 95 (or higher) and insert the diskette into your diskette drive.
2.
Select "Start" in your menu bar and then "Execute".
Enter "A:\setup.exe" and press OK.
If your diskette drive is addressed with a letter other than "A", enter this letter
instead of A.
3.
Follow the instructions of the setup program.
4.
Select the driver "CPC-PP" (default) in the setup selection menu.
5.
Confirm the following "Restart question" with "OK".
The driver supplied supports the LPT1 interface.
At present the following ifm application programs have access to the CPC-
PP driver:
plus
ecolog100
CAN monitor
Downloader
CANopen module configurator
Port address and interrupt setting (IRQ)
During installation these system settings are configured automatically and are
available after restart. These settings need not be adopted in the above-men-
tioned application programs.
Deinstallation
For deinstallation select menu "Start"
