Important safety instructions for cordless
power tools, chargers and rechargeable batteries.
1. Keep these instructions in a safe place! These instructions
contain important safety rules for using the charger and rechargeable
battery.
2. Read the operating instructions and warning
information on the tools!
3. Attention! To avoid injury and damage, only use battery DMS 3
catalogue number 9007450000 and charger catalogue number
LG DMS Pro / DMS 3 catalogue number 9007460000 together.
There is a danger of explosion if any other batteries of battery
chargers are used!
4. The charger is designed only for normal mains voltage
(230 V) and must not be operated with a deviating voltage.
5. Do not expose the charger to rain or snow or use in damp
atmospheres!
6. Do not pull out the power plug out of the socket by the power cord
or carry the charger by the mains lead!
7. Keep the charger clean and free from foreign bodies.
8. Do not leave the power cord trailing, so that it can be tripped over
or trodden on or overstressed or damaged in any other way.
9. Do not use the charger with a damaged mains lead or plug. Faulty
parts should be changed immediately.
10. Do not use the charger after a fall or impact or any other damage,
but first have it checked by an authorised dealer.
11. Do not disassemble the charger and battery pack.
Checks and repairs should only be carried out by authorised
specialists. A danger of electric shock and fire exists in the event of
incorrect reassembly.
12. For protection against electric shock, disconnect the mains lead of
the charger from the power socket prior to servicing or repairs.
13. Do not store the tool and battery pack In places exposed to
temperatures above 60 °C (e. g. inside motor vehicles in summer),
the heat can damage the battery.
14. Note! Do not charge the battery pack at temperatures
below 0 °C or above 40 °C.
15. Ensure good ventilation when charging the battery pack.
Do not cover the charger or battery pack.
16. The contacts of the battery pack should be covered with a non-
conductive material when stored outside the charger. A danger of fire
and explosion exists in the event of a short-circuit through bridging
with metal.
17. Do not throw the battery pack into an open fire or water.
Danger of explosion!
18. Do not open the battery pack casing.
19. A danger of fire, electric shock or injury exists
when using non-recommended accessories.
Note on environmental protection
Faulty or used batteries do not belong in normal domestic refuse.
These can be fully recycled via your tool dealer.
