− Do not move the ladder if a person is on it.
− Do not place any tools or objects on the rungs and do not hang anything on
the ladder.
− Do not pull forcefully on objects and do not exert significant pressure on
objects while standing on the ladder. The ladder could topple over as a result.
− Always wear close-fitting clothing when climbing the ladder. Loose clothing
may get caught and cause you to fall off the ladder.
− Do not use makeshift measures to extend the ladder and do not change its
form or function in any manner.
− The ladder must never be moved to a new position from the top.
− Pay attention to the wind when using the ladder outdoors.

Checking the ladder and scope of supply
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
A significant risk of injury exists if you use a damaged ladder or do not use the
ladder as intended.
− Inspect the ladder after delivery and before initial use to check the condition
and the function of all parts.
WARNING!
Risk of suffocation!
If children play with the packaging film, they may become trapped and suffocate.
− Do not let children play with the packaging film.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Carelessly opening the packaging with a sharp knife or other sharp objects may
damage the ladder.
− Take care when opening the packaging.
1. Remove the ladder from the packaging.
2. Check whether the delivery is complete (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the ladder or individual parts are damaged. If so, do not use the
ladder. Contact the retailer.
Fit the protective caps (wall)
− Fit the two protective caps with the two screws supplied before use (see Fig. I).
− NEVER use the ladder without protective caps.
