− Do not use the ladder as a bridge.
− Wear suitable enclosed footwear when using the ladder.
− Avoid performing work on the ladder with a one-sided load, such as
side drilling through solid materials (e.g. brick or concrete).
− Do not stay on the ladder for an extended time without regular breaks (muscle
fatigue is a risk). Immediately descend the ladder if you feel fatigued.
− Lean-to ladders to access heights should be extended at least 1 m
beyond the contact point.
− Never climb higher than up to the last metre of the lean-
to ladder.

− Only transport light, portable objects when you are on the ladder.
Always hold the ladder with one hand when working on it or, if this
is not possible, take additional safety precautions.
− Before use, make sure that the ladder's locking devices are
working and that all extended sections are properly locked before
you climb the ladder. Only use the ladder if it is working properly.
− Make sure that no cables or pipes, unlocked windows and doors as
well as projecting walls are located near you before climbing the ladder.
− Do not use the ladder if one or more of the slip-resistant caps for the stand are
missing or are visibly damaged.
− Position the ladder so that it is always freely accessible.
− Climb the ladder one rung at a time, do not skip rungs.
− Do not slide down the bars.
− If necessary, take additional measures to ensure the stability of the ladder, e.g.
lashing the ladder to a fixed anchor point.
− If you are working at heights, take additional measures to secure the ladder.
− Only transport the ladder if it has been completely retracted and secured with
the belt.
