VERTICAL ADJUSTABLE LOUVER (A4)
CAUTION:
Do not adjust the vertical louvers to the extreme left or right during
the Cool or Dehudmifiy mode with the fan speed set to Low for an
extended period of time. Condensation may form on the louvers.
REMOTE CONTROL HOLDER (B8)
To prevent the remote control from being misplaced, place remote
control to the remote control holder on the unit when not in use.

4. USING REMOTE CONTROL

After putting through the power, the air conditioner will give out a
sound. After the operation indictor " " is ON (red indicator), you
can operate the air conditioner by using remote control. By press-
ing the button on the remote control, the signal icon " " on the
display of remote control will blink once and the air conditioner will
give out a sound, which means the signal has been sent to the air
conditioner.
The functions work the same as your air conditioner's operation
panel. (Fig. C)
Set temperature will be displayed on the display during the unit
OFF.
If you set some function by remote control, the corresponding set
icons and light will be shown on the display.

TIMER / TEMPERATURE ADJUST BUTTON (C6)
Pressing + or – button once will increase or decrease set tempera-
ture by 1°C(°F).
Holding + or – button for 2 seconds, the set temperature on remote
controller will change quickly.

X-FAN button (Internal drying operation) (C11)
Press this button under Cool and Dehumidify mode to start up
X-fan function. Press this button again to cancel X-fan function.
When X-fan function is on, if the air conditioner is turned off, indoor
fan will keep operation at low speed for a while to blow the residual
water inside the air duct.
NOTE: During X-fan operation, press X-fan button to turn off X-fan
function. Indoor fan will stop operation immediately.
TIMER button (C4)
OFF TIMER
1.
When unit is on, press "TIMER" button (C4) to set OFF timer.
2.
(For TAD-120E and TAD-126E)
T-OFF and H icon will be blinking.
(For TAD-129E)
The character of HOUR and OFF will be blinking.
3.
Within 5 seconds, press + or - button to adjust the time for
OFF timer. Pressing + or - button once will increase or de-
crease the time by 0.5 hour. Holding + or – button for 2 sec-
onds, time will change quickly. Release the button after your
required set time is reached. Then press TIMER button to con-
firm it.
4.
(For TAD-120E and TAD-126E)
T-OFF and H icon will stop blinking.
(For TAD-129E)
The character of HOUR and OFF will stop blinking.
ON TIMER
When unit is off, press this button to set ON timer. The following
procedure is same as the procedure for OFF TIMER. Refer the
above instruction for OFF timer.
Child lock function (For remote control)
Press "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously, turn on or turn off child
lock function.
(For TAD-120E and TAD-126E)
Child lock is ON.......

If you operate the remote control, remote control will not send sig-
nal.
Light function
(For TAD-120E and TAD-126E)
Under switch-on or switch-off state, you may hold "+"and "FAN"
buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to set the light on or off and
send the code. After being energized the light is defaulted on.
(For TAD-129E)
Press "LIGHT" button (C14) to turn off the light for the unit's dis-
play. " " icon on remote control will disappear. Press LIGHT but-
ton again to turn on the light for the unit's display. " " icon on re-
mote controller will be displayed.
The following functions and buttons are only for TAD-129E.
HEALTH function
1.
Press "HEALTH" button and start up the HEALTH function.
2.
When there's no display on remote control, HEALTH function
will be turned off.
SAVE function
operate under SAVE mode.

TEMP button (C13)
By pressing the TEMP button, you can see indoor set temperature,

Batteries: Remove the cover on the back of the remote control
and insert the batteries with the (+) and (−) poles
pointing in the proper direction. (Fig. D)

5. DRAINING EXCESS WATER (Fig. E)
1.
Drain excess water from the chassis by placing a pan under
the drain water outlet. (Fig. E2)
2.
Remove the drain plug, and let the water drain into the pan.
3.
When the water stops draining out, replace the drain plug.
4.
Remove the pan of water.
5.
Operate the unit in Fan mode to dry the interior of the unit.
NOTE:
be drained to the chassis and spattered by water-striking
motor. As the temperature of condenser is high, most of
the condensation water will be evaporated and drained to
outdoor. So usually, only a little condensation water will
be accumulated inside the chassis and you do not need
to discharge the water frequently.

6. CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE

There are 2 ways to remove collected water:

DRAINAGE FROM THE BOTTOM HOLE (Fig. I)
