Use and installation instructions
mechanical room thermostat
The room thermostat is particularly suitable to automatically
control the temperature of premises such as houses, schools,
rooms, workshops, besides various applications in civil and
industrial heating and air conditioning fields.
The contact's opening and closing takes place by means of a
saturated vapour expansion bellow which detects the room
temperature. An easily controllable adjustment switch allows
to set the required room temperature.
During winter, in case of a long inactivity of the heating system,
in order to avoid frozen pipes, room thermostat can garantee an
antifrost protection.
To activate such function, turn the adjustment knob until the
(+ 5 °C / + 41 °F) symbol is at the level of the reference knotch.
The room thermostat is available in 5 different models:
• model with three contacts without signal lamp.
• model with three contacts with signal lamp.
• model with two contacts with signal lamp and winter/off/
summer switch.
• model with three contacts with signal lamp and on/off
switch.
