BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove all packaging from the kettle and power base.
2. Rinse the interior of the kettle thoroughly before first use. Fill the kettle up to
the "MAX" mark, boil and then discard the water. Repeat 2–3 times.
3. The kettle is now ready for use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the kettle from the power base.
2. Open the lid by holding the handle with one hand and pulling up on the ring
knob with your other hand.
3. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the minimum
[MIN 1.0L] or above the maximum [MAX 1.7L] fill line marked on the water level
gauge.
4. Close the lid by pushing it firmly in place.
5. Place the kettle on the power base and plug the cord into the wall socket.
6. Press the ON/OFF switch to switch the kettle on. The switch illuminates when
the kettle is on and turns off when the kettle is off. The kettle will switch off
automatically when the water has boiled.
