3. The water in the water tank must be changed at least once a week in order
to prevent lime-scale and algae build-up. For hygienic reasons we recom-
mend changing the water several times a week.
4. If the appliance will not be used for an extended period of time, the excess
water must be drained from the appliance. In this regard comply with all
instructions in the chapter „Water tank"///.
5. You can remove the filter for cleaning by opening the securing screw with
a Phillips head screw driver. Take out the filter and carefully remove dust
and lint from the filter. Re-attach the dry, clean filter on the appliance and
refasten the screw.
Storage
6. Store the appliance in a dry, safe place so that it is protected from dust,
impact, heat and moisture.
7. At air temperatures under 0°C, any residual water must be drained from
the appliance, otherwise frost damage can occur on the appliance.
8. The power cord can be safely stowed by means of the cable storage element

on the rear of the appliance, underneath the
water tank. Press on the two arms of the cable
storage element, which then swing out. The
power cord can now be wound around the
cable storage element.
