• To connect the external voltage/power supply, use either a power adapter with a round plug
for the 9-40V DC IN connection socket (2) or the supplied 9-40V DC IN terminal block (1)
with the screw terminals. The polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) does not need to be considered.
The specification for the round plug can be found in the technical data.
Only connect the power supply to one connection at a time. Never use the terminal
block and the connection socket with the power adapter at the same time.
• Switch on the external voltage/power supply. The LED operation lamp (3) lights up.
• Connect the USB hub to the USB-B port (4) with the supplied USB cable and to a free USB
3.0 port on your computer with the USB-A plug. The operating system recognises the new
hardware and automatically installs the required drivers.
• Connect your USB devices to the USB-A ports (5) of the USB hub. If a device is detected, the
LED indicator light (6) next to the corresponding USB port lights up.
• There are screw threads next to the USB ports. Here you can screw on suitably equipped
USB connectors.
Internal fuse
• The product is protected against overcurrent with an internal fuse. The fuse is non-replaceable.
• If the fuse trips, the product will automatically reset and will be ready for use after a few
seconds. Make sure you find the cause of the error and fix it.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the power supply and connected devices before cleaning.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
