Installation
Ensure that you do not damage cables or wires when drilling holes or tightening
screws. Accidentally drilling into electrical cables can cause a fatal electric shock!
Look after your own safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill).
• If necessary, mount the hub on a wall or other suitable flat surface. The delivery includes
2 wall brackets.
• Insert the wall brackets on the bottom of the hub so that they are tight. You can then use
the hub with the wall brackets as a template to mark the holes. Observe the dimensions
(all dimensions in mm) in the illustrations.
• Suitable fastening material (dowels, screws) is not included in the delivery.
Setup
The hub is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. This means that traditional
USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices can be operated on this hub without any problems.
The hub operates at a voltage of 9 – 40 V/DC. The power supply must be strong enough
to power 10 USB ports. For a USB 3.0 port, the standard provides 900 mA per port.
Power can also be supplied via USB (bus). The power supply via USB is distributed
to the outputs and the maximum output current of the individual outputs is limited:
USB 2.0 = 360 mA, USB 3.0 = 470 mA).
