1.0 INSTALLATION
The Beacon is mounted via a
backstrap fixed to the base of the
unit. Details of the hole sizes and
fixing centres can be found in the
attached data sheet.
The unit is certified to operate at
any attitude.
1.1 CABLE TERMINATION
1.1.1 UNITS WITH THE EExe
CHAMBER FITTED
Unscrew the 2 x M5 retained cover
screws in the cover of the EExe
chamber (4.0mm AF hexagon
key).
Remove the EExe cover from the
terminal chamber, exposing the
terminal block and the internal
earth stud.
See 1.1.3 General termination
details.
After cable termination has been
completed, the cover can be
replaced and secured with the 2 x
M5 fixing screws.
torque 4NM.
1.1.2 EExd UNITS
Unscrew the 3 x M10 retained
main cover fixing screws (8.0mm
AF hexagon key) and lift the cover
clear of the rotating mirror and
place to one side.
Unscrew the 3 retained slotted
head screws holding the reflector
plate into the unit and list the
assembly out of the unit, exposing
the terminal block and internal
earth stud.

details.
After cable termination has been
completed, the reflector plate
assembly can be replaced and
secured with the slotted head
screws, then the main cover can
be replaced and secured to the
base. Check the gap between the
case and cover does not exceed
0.15mm.

Le feu s'installe au moyen du collier
prévu à la base. Se référer à la
fiche technique jointe pour le
diamètre des trous et l'entraxe.
Le feu fonctionne dans n'importe
quelle position.
1.1 ELEMENTS DE CONNEXION
DES CABLES
1.1.1 MODÈLES AVEC CHAMBRE
EExe
Dévisser les 2 vis M5 de fixation
du couvercle de la chambre EExe
(clé Allen de 4 mm).
Séparer le couvercle EExe du
logement des bornes de façon à
accéder au bornier et à la borne
de mise à la terre.

Une fois le branchement des câbles
réalisé, remettre le couvercle en
place et le fixer au moyen des deux

4Nm.
1.1.2 MODÈLES EExd
Dévisser les 3 vis M10 de fixation
du couvercle (clé Allen de 8 mm)
puis retirer le couvercle du miroir
rotatif et le placer sur un côté.
Dévisser les 3 vis de fixation en
maintenant le réflecteur dans le
boîtier. Retirer l'ensemble du
boîtier de façon à accéder au
bornier et à la borne de mise à la
terre.

Une fois le branchement des câbles
réalisé, remettre le réflecteur en
place et le fixer au moyen des vis
d'origine. Remettre le couvercle en
place et le fixer sur le boîtier.
Vérifier que l'écartement entre le
boîtier et le couvercle ne dépasse
pas 0,15 mm.

1.1 KABELENDVERSCHLUSS

Lösen Sie die beiden gesicherten
M5-Deckelschrauben im Deckel
der
EExe-Kammer
Inbusschlüssel).
Nehmen Sie den EExe-Deckel von
der Klemmenkammer ab, um den
Anschlussblock und den internen
Erdstift freizulegen.

Wenn der Kabelendverschluss
abgeschlossen ist, kann der Deckel
wieder aufgesetzt und mit Hilfe der
beiden M5-Schrauben befestigt
werden. Maximales Anzugs-
moment 4Nm.
1.1.2 EExd-AUSFÜHRUNG
Entfernen Sie die 3 gesicherten
M10 Hauptdeckel-Befestigungs-
schrauben (8,0mm Inbusschlüssel),
heben Sie den Deckel vom
Drehspiegel und legen Sie ihn zur
Seite.
Entfernen Sie die 3 gesicherten
Schlitzschrauben, mit denen die
Reflektorplatte in der Leuchte
befestigt ist, und heben Sie die
Baugruppe heraus, so dass der
Anschlussblock und der interne
Erdstift zugänglich sind.

Wenn der Kabelendverschluss
abgeschlossen ist, kann die
Reflektorplatte wieder eingesetzt
und mit Hilfe der Schlitzschrauben
