4. MAINTENANCE

These devices are designed for use in the following conditions:
- an ambient temperature of 20°C
- an environment with a non-condensing atmospheric humidity
- it must not be possible to touch the dimmer directly (central plate
and flush surround plate must be mounted)
- 230V mains voltage.
Regular inspection of the following is advisable (after the mains
supply has been switched off completely):
- pressure of the connection terminals and ventilation.
- The cooling surface or cooling slots should be cleaned regularly
to ensure that they remain dustfree and to guarantee an optimum
dissipation.
Cooling is essential for a reliable and safe operation. The dimmer
produces ±1,2% heat with respect to the connected power. E.g.: 300W
lighting = 3,6W dissipation; 500W lighting = 6W dissipation...
