Sub Phase [PHA]

Use this function Sub Phase to change the phase of a connected subwoofer between 0 degree (factory setting) and 180 degree (phase
inverted) relative to the other speakers. Try a phase shift of 180 degree in case the bass level at the selected rossover frequency in the menu
Crossover [XOV] seems to be much too low or completely off. This function works for both, wirelessly and wired subwoofers. This function is
only available if a subwoofer (Smart or Analog) has been selected in the menu Speakerconfiguration [SPC].
To set the subwoofer's phase to 180 degree resp. back to 0 degree please do the following:
To enter the menu, press and hold the input select key "

Confirm the first menu item Speaker Setup [SPS] with the "Play/Pause" button " ".

Use the "+" resp. the "–" key to select the menu item Sub Phase [PHA] and confirm with the "Play/Pause" button " ".

Use the "+" resp. the "–" key to select the desired phase.

Confirm and exit the menu item by pressing the Input-button "

Sub Stereo [SSM]

If you have connected a subwoofer to the Connect 5.1, this subwoofer will play all (bass)signals that are lower than the set crossover frequen-
cy in the menu item Crossover [XOV], independently of the selected playmode (Stereo, Movie, Music, etc.). For a pure stereo experience it is
possible to route the full music signal (including the bass part) to the front speakers (FL, FR) in the playmode Stereo. This function is only avai-
lable if a subwoofer (Smart or Analog) has been selected in the menu Speakerconfiguration [SPC]. The function is set to On [ON] as factory
setting, so that the subwoofer plays the bass signals.
To play the bass signal in Stereo mode through the front speakers please do as follows:

Use the "+" resp. the "–" key to select the menu item Sub Stereo [SSM] and confirm with the "Play/Pause" button " ".

Use the "+" resp. the "–" key to select the desired function:

On [ON] means that the subwoofer plays the bass signals (factory setting).
Off [OFF] means that the bass signals are played through the front speakers Front Left and Front Right.
Confirm and exit the menu item by pressing the Input-button "
