Rules of safety and use
A. Choose locations where you can better your skills, avoid side walks and streets.
B. Children should skate under constant adult supervision ..
C. Learn slowly, especially in the case of new tricks. When you feel that you are losing balance, do not wait
until you fall down, but break and start from the beginning. Always try to maintain speed that will allow you
to break safely.
D. At the beginning learn with a friend or parent. The greatest number of unpleasant accidents takes place
within the first month of learning.
E. A relaxed, steady slide requires long strides, as well as focus on proper, stable posture - legs bent in the
knees, torso slightly leaning forwards. Such posture will help maintain balance. In order to increase speed,
push away from the ground using the left and the right leg in turns.
F. In order to turn or turn back, you need to balance your body accordingly.
Regular service and changing worn or damaged elements will increase safety.
Before every use check the condition of the skates, tighten the bearings leeways if the need be.
Each wheel contains bearings. These are classified according to the abec scale, with (odd) numbers from 1 to
9. Higher abec class translates to higher precision of manufacturing, therefore describing the level of slide of the
bearing - the higher the number, the lower internal resistance due to less wobble and better quality of lubrication.
Should any element be damaged, it should be immediately changed with a new one. Worn breaks, wheels, and
bearings are easily removed after loosening screws and nuts. In the case of improper functioning of bearings
(worn, grinding), they should be cleaned using appropriete cleaner or solver, and lubricated, or changed with
new ones. Using skates with faulty bearings may lead to other damage. Remove sharp edges that are the result
of use.
