• Even when the tool is used as prescribed it is not pos-
sible to eliminate all residual risk factors. The following
hazards may rise in connection with tool's construction
and design.
- Contact with the blade.
- Kickback of workpiece and parts of workpiece.
- Blade fracture.
- Catapulting of blade pieces.
- Damage to hearing if effective ear defenders are not
worn.
- Harmful emissions of sawdust when the machine
is used in closed rooms. Beech and oak dusts are
especially detrimental to health and therefore may be
worked only with dust collector.
Always use supplementary dust extraction where pos-
sible.
Select saw blades in relation to the material being cut.
Dimensions of the blade must correspond with param-

blades of High Speed Steel (HSS blades), grinding/

blade. Saw blades shall be carried in a holder wher-
ever possible.
• Wear gloves when handling saw blades and rough ma-
terials.
• Make certain that the saw blade does not touch the
rotary table in any setting. To do so, pull out the power
plug and tilt the saw blade by hand into the 45° position
and the 90° position.
Never use a cracked or distorted saw blade. Only use
sharp blades.
• Always remove the plug from the mains socket before
making any adjustments or maintenance, including
changing the blade.
• Do not slow or stop a blade with a piece of wood. Let
the blade come to rest naturally
• The use of any extension cord will cause some loss
of power. To keep power loss to a minimum and to
prevent tool overheating, use an extension cord that is
heavy enough to carry the current the tool will draw.
• When using extension cord on the reel, unwind it com-
pletely.
• Do not abuse power cord. Check it regularly. Never
use a faulty or damaged power cord.
• The machine must be connected to a 230 V socket-
outlet with a minimum 10 A fuse. When operating out-
doors, use residual current device (30 mA maximum).
• Do not operate in rain or snow, in humid places. Keep
your work area tidy. Rags, cloths, cord and string and
