3.3 Einstellen der Begrenzung der Fußbodentemperatur
Diese Einstellung wird nach der Lasteinstellung im Punkt 3.2 vorgenommen.
Die Begrenzung der Fußbodentemperatur ist nach rechtstehender Skala / der Skala im
Gehäusedeckel mit dem internen Poti auf die gewünschte maximale Fußbodentempe-
ratur einzustellen. Werkseinstellung: 50°C.

1. Application
This electronic room temperature controller has been specially devised for the control of electric or warm-water heating systems, additional floor heating systems and
other surface temperature equalization systems. Regarding other applications not to be foreseen by the manufacturer of this device, the safety standards concerning
these applications need to be followed and adhered to. Regarding the aptitude of the device for any such other application, please refer to section 10. herein (War-
ranty).
2. Functioning
The controller measures, based on the data delivered to it by an internal sensor, the existing ambient temperature and uses an external sensor for
the control of the floor temperature. The heating contact is closed in the event the temperature falls short of the desired ambient temperature. The
scale
... 6 is equivalent to a room temperature range of approx. 5 ... 30°C. The red lamp indicates that the heating phase is active. Actuating the switch enables
to deactivate the heating function. Once the phase is being connected to the terminal
to an ambient temperature value that is by approx. 4K lower. The green lamp indicates this economizing mode. Caution! The vol tage input for the operation in eco-
nomizing mode is to be considered as second incoming supply. Prior to performing any works on the device, this in coming supply too needs to be powered off and
made voltage-free.
3. Mounting and installation
The controller is, depending on the type version of the device or size of the package used for it, either delivered in closed or, in order to facilitate its fast installation,
also in opened condition. The device with the 50 x 50 mm housing cover can be integrated into almost all currently available flush switch installation frame systems
when using DIN 49075 compliant intermediate frames. The device with the 55 x 55 mm housing cover is also suited for use with different commercially available
switch lines. If using multiple frames, the controller must always be mounted in the lowest position. The controller can be opened after the removal of the adjusting
