What it means
The unit is not plugged in.
The LED briefly lights for 2-3 seconds at power on while the unit checks the hardware. If this LED stays on,
or lights at any other time, a hardware fault has occurred. Contact your system administrator for a
replacement unit.
The unit is powered on and the hardware is functioning normally.
The unit is inoperable. Contact your system administrator to correct the problem.
No smart card is inserted.
The smart card has been inserted correctly.
