1.1 Frontseite
1 XLR-Eingangsbuchse DJ MIC (sym.) für den An-
schluß eines DJ-Mono-Mikrofons
[Bei Anschluß eines Mikrofons an die 6,3-mm-
Klinkenbuchse DJ MIC (27) auf der Geräterück-
seite, wird diese Buchse abgeschaltet.]
2 Umschalttasten für die Eingänge der Kanäle 1 – 4
3 Gain-Regler zum Einstellen der Eingangsver-
stärkung für die Eingangskanäle
4 Klangregelung für die Kanäle 1 – 4: Höhenregler
(HIGH), Mittenregler (MID), Tiefenregler (LOW)
5 Tasten SEND zum Schalten der Eingangskanäle
auf den Pre Fader-Ausspielweg: bei gedrückter

Anzeigemodus „MASTER" befinden [Umschalt-
taste (21) nicht gedrückt.]

Operating Elements and Connections
1.1 Front panel
1 XLR input jack DJ MIC (bal.) for the connection
of a DJ mono microphone
[With connection of a microphone to the 6.3 mm
jack DJ MIC (27) on the rear side of the unit, this
jack is switched off.]
2 Selector buttons for the inputs of channels 1 to 4
3 Gain controls for adjusting the input amplification
for the input channels
4 Equalizer for channels 1 to 4: treble (HIGH),
midrange (MID), bass (LOW) controls
5 Buttons SEND for switching the input channels
to the pre-fader send: With the button pressed
the respective channel is fed to the output SEND
(34) ahead of the fader (16).
6 Master fader for the master channel A
7 Button for switching the VU meter (22) between
the two master channels
Button not pressed:
The level of the master channel A is displayed.
Button pressed:
The level of the master channel B is displayed.
Note: To display the level of one of the two
master channels, the VU meter must be in the
display mode "MASTER" [selector button (21)
not pressed].
8 4-pole XLR jack LAMP for the connection of a
console lamp (12 V/5 W max.)
9 Master fader for the master channel B
10 On/off switch POWER
11 6.3 mm jack for the connection of stereo head-
phones (impedance ≥ 2 x 8 Ω)

12 Pegelregler für den an der Buchse (11) ange-
schlossenen Kopfhörer
13 Höhenregler HIGH und Tiefenregler LOW für das

14 Taste AUTOTALK für Mikrofondurchsagen:
Ist die Taste gedrückt, werden bei Durchsagen
über das DJ-Mikrofon die Pegel der Kanäle 1 – 4
um 12 dB abgesenkt.
15 Taste ON AIR zum Ein-/Ausschalten des DJ-
Mikrofons
16 Pegelregler (Fader) für die Eingangskanäle
17 Tasten PFL zum Vorhören der Eingangskanäle
1 – 4 vor dem jeweiligen Kanalfader (16) über
einen Kopfhörer an der Buchse (11)
18 Zuordnungsschalter C.F. ASSIGN A für den
Crossfader (20); bestimmt, welcher Eingangska-
nal eingeblendet wird, wenn der Crossfader links
steht
19 Pegelregler RETURN für das am Eingang RE-
TURN (33) angeschlossene Effektgerät
20 Überblendregler (Crossfader) zum Überblenden
zwischen zwei der Kanäle 1 – 4; die jeweiligen
Kanäle werden mit den beiden C.F. ASSIGN-
Schaltern (18 und 23) angewählt
21 Umschalttaste für den Anzeigemodus des VU-
Meters (22)
Taste nicht gedrückt:
Anzeigemodus „MASTER": Das VU-Meter zeigt
den Pegel des mit der Umschalttaste (7) ge-
wählten Masterkanals an.
Taste gedrückt:
Anzeigemodus „PFL": Das VU-Meter zeigt den
Pre Fader-Pegel des Eingangskanals an, des-
sen Taste PFL (17) gedrückt ist.
22 Stereo-VU-Meter
23 Zuordnungsschalter C.F. ASSIGN B für den
Crossfader (20); bestimmt, welcher Eingangska-
nal eingeblendet wird, wenn der Crossfader
rechts steht
12 Level control for the headphones connected to
jack (11)
13 HIGH and LOW controls for the DJ microphone
14 Button AUTOTALK for microphone announce-
ments: If the button is pressed, during announce-
ments via the DJ microphone the levels of the
channels 1 to 4 are attenuated by 12 dB.
15 Button ON AIR for switching on/off the DJ micro-
phone
16 Level controls (faders) for the input channels
17 Buttons PFL for pre-fader listening of the input
channels 1 to 4 ahead of the respective channel
fader (16) via headphones connected to jack (11)
18 Switch C.F. ASSIGN A for the crossfader (20);
determines which input channel is faded in when
the crossfader is in the left position
19 Level control RETURN for the effect unit con-
nected to the input RETURN (33)
20 Crossfader for fading between two of the chan-
nels 1 to 4; the respective channels are selected
with the two C.F. ASSIGN switches (18 and 23)
21 Selector button for the display mode of the VU
meter (22)
Button not pressed:
display mode "MASTER": The VU meter shows
the level of the master channel selected with
button (7).
Button pressed:
display mode "PFL": The VU meter shows the
pre-fader level of the input channel of which the
button PFL (17) is pressed.
22 Stereo VU meter
23 Switch C.F. ASSIGN B for the crossfader (20);
determines which input channel is faded in if the
crossfader is in the right position
24 Control MIX for the headphone output (11):
For monitoring the pre-fader level of one of the in-
put channels 1 to 4, press button PFL (17) of the
channel and turn the control MIX fully counter-
clockwise (position PFL).
24 Regler MIX für den Kopfhörerausgang (11):
Zum Abhören des Pre Fader-Pegels eines der
Eingangskanäle 1 – 4 die Taste PFL (17) des Ka-
nals drücken und den Regler MIX ganz nach links
drehen (Position PFL).
Zum Abhören des laufenden Musikprogramms
vor den Masterfadern (6 und 9) den Regler MIX
ganz nach rechts drehen (Position PROG.).

25 Stereo-Eingänge PHONO (Cinch) für die Kanäle
1 und 2 zum Anschluß von Plattenspielern mit
Magnetsystem
26 Anschluß GND für gemeinsamen Massepunkt,
z. B. für die angeschlossenen Plattenspieler

34 Stereo output SEND (phono jacks) for routing out
the channel signals sent to the pre-fader send
way: connection to a unit with line level input,
e. g. effect unit, amplifier of the monitoring system
35 Stereo inputs LINE and CD (phono jacks) for
channels 1 to 4 for the connection of units with
line level outputs (e. g. minidisc recorder, CD
player, tape recorder)
