6. Using the Hex wrench that ships with the terminal, turn the battery retainer locking nut counterclockwise
to release the battery retainer. The battery retainer is designed to prevent removal of the battery in a
hazardous location.
7. Use the Hex wrench to push the battery retainer toward the battery pack.
8. Insert the Hex wrench in the locking nut and turn it clockwise to lock the battery retainer in place.
9. Hook the bottom edge of the battery door into the battery compartment. Push the battery door down over
the battery compartment. Push the battery door latch down and slide it toward the top end of the terminal
to lock the door in place.
To remove the battery pack

2. Open the battery door by pushing down on the battery door latch and sliding it toward the bottom end of
the terminal. Lift up the top edge of the battery door to remove it.
3. Insert the Hex wrench in the locking nut and turn it counterclockwise to loosen the battery retainer.
4. Use the Hex wrench to push the battery retainer away from the battery pack.
5. Slide the battery pack toward the bottom end of the terminal.
6. Tilt the terminal and let the battery pack drop out into your hand.
