OPERATION - General
The cupcake maker is intended
only for domestic use,
not for professional use.

OPERATION - Before first use
Clean the baking plates before using the appliance for the first time (see 'Cleaning and maintenance'). The
appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time. This
is normal, and will soon stop. Make sure the appliance has sufficient ventilation. During use the heating
element will switch on and off to keep the temperature of the baking plate constant. The green indicator
light will also turn on and off. This does not indicate a defect.
ATTENTION: Keep house birds away from the appliance when it is in use. Fumes released from the non-
stick coating are harmful to birds.
OPERATION - Preheating
1. Put the plug into the wall socket. The indicator lights will illuminate, and the appliance will begin to
heat up.
2. Wait until the green indicator light is out. The baking plates are now at the correct temperature and the
cupcake maker is ready for use.
OPERATION - Baking cupcakes
1. Prepare the cupcake batter according to receipe.
2. Preheat the appliance as explained in 'Preheating'.
3. Grease both baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter over the surface.
4. Divide the mixture over the forms in the lower baking plate, preferably with a piping bag.
5. Bake the cupcakes until they have the desired colour.
6. Open the appliance once the cupcakes are ready.
7. Carefully remove the cupcakes with a fork; take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
8. Once you have finished baking cupcakes, remove the plug from the plug socket and open the
appliance to allow the baking plates to cool down.
ATTENTION:
• Do not use a plastic piping bag, it could melt when it comes into contact with the baking plates.
• The normal preparation time is approximately 7 minutes. For evenly browned cupcakes you may turn
around the cupcakes and bake them for approximately 3 extra minutes.
• During use the heating element will switch on and off to keep the temperature of the baking plate
constant. Consequently, the indicator light will also occasionally be illuminated.
