Intended use
This item is to be used exclusively as seating for
personal use, to facilitate easier and safer use
of the bathtub. The item is not suitable for use by
people with impaired mental abilities.
This item is not a medical device and was not
developed for personal rehabilitation or medical
care.
Safety information
L ife-threatening hazard!
• Never leave children unattended with the
packaging materials. There is a risk of suffoca-
tion.
R isk of injury!
• Make sure that all parts are undamaged and
properly fitted. Incorrect assembly may result
in injury. Damaged parts can affect safety and
function of the item.
• Check the item for damage or wear before
each use. Check that all screws are tight be-
fore each use! Use the item only if it is in per-
fect condition! Do not use the item if it is visibly
damaged or if you suspect it is damaged!
• Only use the item when its surface tempera-
ture is safe. The surface of the item can reach
temperatures that are injurious to health,
caused by hot water, direct sunlight, sauna
conditions, extreme cold, etc.
• Slipping hazard! Check that the item is fitted
securely before each use and make sure that
the surface outside the bathtub is non-slip.
• Use the item for its intended purpose only.
• The item may only be used under adult
supervision and should not be used as a toy.
• Do not touch the item if your fingers are
wet. Otherwise the grips lose their non-slip
properties.
• Smooth or damp surfaces can impair the non-
slip properties.
• Do not step on the seat.
• Do not touch the height adjustment holes and
avoid getting pinched.
• Do not use the item as a walking aid.
• Do not lift the item while somebody is using it.
• The lifespan of the item depends on how it
is used. However, the item must be replaced
five years after the date of manufacture
(05/2019) at the latest.
Beware of damaging the materials!
• No liability will be accepted for damages of
any kind to the bathtub.
Assembly
To assemble the item you will need the following
additional tools not included in the package
contents: Phillips screwdriver and wrench.
1. Assemble the item as shown in Figures B–I.
2. Press the snap buttons on both sides and pull
the item evenly up to the desired height.
Note: for easier assembly it is recommended
that two people assemble the item.
3. Place the item in your bathtub (Fig. J).
