2. ASSEMBLY

Cautiously remove each component's
protective packaging prior to assembly.
We recommend that the seat be assem-
bled on a soft surface, such as a carpet.
Note: The screws are treated with a light-
blue adhesive material, which is activated
within 24 hours, preventing unintended
release of the screwed joint. The scews can
be unfastened afterwards with increased
torque.

2.1 Attach armrests to the seat

1. To facilitate attaching the armrests,
we recommend that you tilt the module
forward. [1]
2. Insert each armrest's end piece into its
corresponding recess found on each side
of the seat shell's base. [2]
3. To fasten each armrest, use the hex key
and one of the two screws provided.
Be sure to insert the slot nut correctly,
facing the seat shell with its flat surface,
and to position the slot nut into the notch
located between the armrest and the
clamp. Initially, do not tighten the screw
too firmly. [3]
4. Use the clamp to fix the armrest. You
should be able to unlock the armrest in
order to adjust it outwards and inwards.
If necessary, readjust the screw for
fixing the armrest in its position while
locking. [4]
5. To attach the other armrest, repeat steps
2 through 4.

this step: seat shell/backrest/mechanics
module, 2 armrests, 2 screws, 2 clamps,
2 slot nuts, hex key.

2.2 Assembling the seat

1. Insert the five castors, one after the
other, into their respective mounts in the
base. The castors will snap into place.

2. Insert the black-painted end of the gas
spring from above into the opening in
the centre of the base. [6]
3. Put the upper end of the gas spring into
the mechanics module. Then tilt the
complete seat back into an upright posi-
tion and place it on the castors. [7]
4. Check the gas spring function by using
the seat height adjuster. To snap the
gas spring into place for the first time,
higher effort is required. Your seat is now
assembled and ready to use. [8]
