This appliance is a combination of microwave oven and grill. Both appliances work ac-
cording to similar principles – the radiation energy emitted by the appliance is absorbed
by the food and heats it up. The difference is that the heat from the grill enters the food
from the outside and is then transmitted to the inside. The microwaves heat the food in
all parts from inside to outside at the same time. This leads to shorter cooking time when
cooking with the microwave oven.
That's why microwaves are so dangerous to living organisms. They cook the inside
before heat receptors in the skin register the danger.
Due to these concerns microwave ovens are constructed with numerous safety features
that shall never be disabled.
As soon as the appliance is switched off, i.e. by opening the door (several safety switch-
es), the radiation is switched off. There is no radiation left in the food or food containers
(it's like switching off the light).
You can use this appliance either in microwave mode, grill mode or combined mode.
