Safety
• The light source of this light fitting is not replaceable.
When the light source reaches the end of its life the whole
light fitting must be replaced.
• This light fitting is only suitable for permanent installation
and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
• The light fitting should be mounted out of the reach of children.
• Ensure proper footing and balance at all times during installation.
• Make sure that there are no hidden cables or water pipes in
the ceiling before drilling/screwing.
• Warning: Whenever installing any electrical products, basic
safety precautions should always be observed to avoid
the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.

Installation
1. Warning: Before beginning any electrical
installation always disconnect the power
to the circuit you are working on, either by
turning off the main circuit breaker or by
removing the fuse from the consumer unit.
2. Secure the light fitting's mounting brackets to the ceiling
with screws. Use fasteners suitable for the surface material
and ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes
in the ceiling where you intend to drill/screw.

3. Loosen the side panel that you plan to connect the electrical
lead to. Note: The cable gland plug (circled in the image)
should be removed on the side the electrical cable is
to be connected to. Leave the seal plug in to maintain
the tightness of the seal, if no cable is to be connected
through the end of the light fitting.
4. Loosen the cable gland nut, pass the conduit through it and
connect its wires to the terminal block. Note: The light fitting
is double-insulated and does not have an earthed terminal.
5. Screw the side panel back on. 6. Tighten the cable gland nut.
7. Press the light fitting up into 8. Turn the power on.

Use the same installation procedures described above for
connecting several light fittings in series (36-6775: Max 10,
36-6774: Max 21). Cable diam: 5.5−10 mm.
Care and maintenance
• Use a dry cloth to wipe the light fitting clean.
• The lamps are non-replaceable. Never try to open the housing
or modify the fitting in any way.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with general household waste.
This applies throughout the entire EU. In order to
prevent any harm to the environment or health
hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal,
the product must be handed in for recycling so that
the material can be disposed of in a responsible
manner. When recycling your product, take it to
your local collection facility or contact the place
of purchase. They will ensure that the product is
disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
