Product description:
The circuit reacts to a loss of the control signal. If the transmitter and receiver are working correctly, the received
control pulses dictate the deflection of the servo; however, if the control pulses cease, the circuit activates the servo
and returns it to a previously set safety position. This prevents damage to the model. The servo position is determined
by the Trimpot on the circuit board. This will reduce the speed of a boat or car and bring the model to a halt.
The system can be used for most current remote control systems that work with positive control impulses.
Any modification to the equipment or the use of other components other than those specified voids the user's authority
to operate the unit.
Connection / Initial operation
Receiver
A 3-pole cable (servo cable) with a plug that fits your receiving unit is soldered on at the "+", "-" and "Signal" input
observing the correct polarity. There is a corresponding female cable socket at the output.
Almost all manufacturers use the same colour configuration for the cable (power supply).

If in doubt please consult the relevant user instructions for your remote control unit.
Connect the throttle servo to the Micro Failsafe PC board.
Before initial operation you must install the throttle/brake servo protected by FAILSAFE into your model and connect
the FAILSAFE module to the appropriate position on the receiver
Now switch on the receiver, but leave the transmitter switched off.
Now set the P1 potentiometer so that the servo operates with "maximum brake control".
Now switch on the transmitter and check to see whether the servo can be operated with the joystick as normal. After a
(simulated) loss of reception caused by switching it off, the servo should operate in its emergency position.
Following this performance check the Failsafe circuit can once again be covered with shrink tubing and shrunk. This
should then be secured in a suitable position and then used for the purpose specified.
