Carson Micro Failsafe
The Carson Micro Failsafe reacts to loss of the control signal between the transmitter and receiver. If the transmitter
and receiver are working correctly, the control pulses received govern the deflection of the servo; however, if the control
signals cease, the Failsafe electrics activate the connected servo and return it to a previously set safety position. This
prevents damage to your model and protects materials.
Important! Essential reading!

Power consumption: approx. 0.05 mA
Dimensions:
20 x 20 mm
Operating conditions:
- The unit must only be operated at the voltage specified.
- It is essential that the technical data given in these instructions is observed. Exceeding these values may cause
damage to the unit or harm the user.
- The unit must not be used in the proximity of strong HF or magnetic fields, as this may result in the unit entering into
an undefined operating state (uncontrolled servo movements)!
- The unit may be operated anywhere. The admissible ambient temperature (room temperature) must not fall below
nor exceed 0°C und 40°C during operation.
- The unit is designed for use in dry and clean areas.
- Should condensation form, up to 2 hours must be allowed for acclimatisation.
- Protect the unit from moisture, spray and exposure to excessive heat.
- This unit is not suitable for children and young people aged below the age of 14.
- The unit may only be operated under the supervision of a competent adult or specialist.
- In commercial and industrial facilities, the regulations for the prevention of accidents as laid down by the professional
trade association for electrical equipment and devices are to be observed.
- In schools, training facilities, hobby and self-help workshops, it is essential that qualified personnel supervise the
operation of electronic devices.
- Do not operate the unit in an area where there are or may be flammable gases, vapours or dust.
- Should the equipment require repair, only use genuine replacement parts. The use of non-genuine spare parts may
cause serious damage or injury!
- The unit must only be repaired by a trained electrician.
- If instructions for a private end user do not clearly state what electric data applies to a component or a module, how to
wire the device, which external components or additional devices can be connected or which parameters these
components are allowed to have, the advice of a specialist must always be sought.
- Before putting a device into use, it should be ascertained whether this device or module is suitable for the field of
application for which it is to be used. In case of doubt it is essential that you consult specialists, experts, or the
