General information:
•
Read carefully before use and keep for future reference!
•
The product contains electronic components which must be disposed of as electronic waste. The housing and
motor parts are made of recyclable plastic and metal.
•
Electrical safety is only guaranteed if the product is installed within the designated installation environment.
•
Modifications are prohibited. Doing so will invalidate any liability claim.
•
The use of accessories and spare parts that do not originate from LIMOT is prohibited and will void any warranty
and liability claims. The same applies for non-observance of the instructions in the manual.
Scope of application:
•
For installation in a housing of the series „LIMODOR F/M" are only the blower inserts of the series „LIMODOR
F/M" and the series „LIMODOR F/M-EC" suitable.
•
The devices are designed for demand-based ventilation of apartments or individual living areas, according
to H6036.
•
The conveying temperature must be between + 5°C and + 50°C.
•
The entire device is protected against spray water and may be installed in the protected area.
•
The device is not suitable for operation with a dimmer.
•
The air return flap corresponds to a 80°C temperature-resistant cold-smoke barrier according to ÖNORM
H6027.
Storage:
•
For longer storage, the entire device must be protected against corrosion by storing it in a dry, moisture-free,
and dust-proof packaging.
•
It should not be exposed to vibrations and large temperature fluctuations.
Assembly:
•
When assembling, the regulations VDE 0100, respectively ÖVE - EN 1, must be followed. In addition, any
local EVU regulations must be observed. (The unit must be disconnected from the mains, either by 2-pole fuses
or by single-pole protection. The latter requires a 2-pole switch with a minimum contact distance of 3mm.)
•
The connection must be made only by a licensed electrician.
•
During assembly work of the fan insert, the device must be switched off.
•
Attention! For partial load devices, the light must always be operated with a 2-pole switch.
•
This ventilation unit complies with protection Class II (protective insulation), so a protective conductor terminal
is not required!
•
To ensure adequate air supply, air inlets or overflow openings must be provided (in between the living quarters,
e.g. through a door gap of at least 1 cm or through overflow elements).
Safety note
(according to ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 60335-1)
•
This ventilation device may be used by children aged 8 years and above, as well as people with reduced phy-
sical, sensory, and mental capabilities or those with a lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they are
supervised or have been instructed, and understand the resulting risks concerning the safe use of the device.
•
Do not allow children to play with the device.
Cleaning
•
Ensure that the fan is disconnected from the power supply before removing the safeguard.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
•
Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners, as these may damage the plastic surface of the wall fan.
•
Do not clean the device or its equipment with a high-pressure cleaner/steam jet.
•
The capacity of the ventilation device depends substantially on the degree of accumulated dirt on the filter.
For this reason, we recommend regular filter maintenance and care.
Do not operate the ventilation device without a filter!
