The aluminium multi-outlet pole MZ-6 + by Van Geel
Legrand is suitable for the installation of socket out-
lets to 16 A - 400 V AC switches to 16 A - 250 V AC, and
data outlets.
Assembly
Before the pole can be placed, first the cover (1) should
be removed from the pole (3).
The insertion foot (4) must be placed in position. The
multi-outlet pole can then be placed vertically in this.
After being unscrewed the ceiling bracket (5) can be
sliding out th ceiling bracket should always be done
with the handle in upright position (A). The ceiling
bracket should be slid out until the pole is fixed in
place between the floor and the ceiling, after which the
2 M10 screws (B) should be tightened firmly with a box
wrench M10. Finally the handle (A) should be pulled
down, so that the ceiling bracket is gaining the right
elasticity. In case the outlet pole should be moved, you
need to put the handle back in the upright posotion,
so that the featherclamp releases itself. After that you
can repat the above mentioned steps.
The ceiling bracket must never extend further than 40
cm out of the multi-outlet pole.
Installation
The multi-outlet pole MZ-6 + must be installed accor-
ding to the applicable wiring regulations.
The accessory boxes are suited for outlets and swit-
ches with assembly brackets or rings or can be com-
bined with our Cubic 45 frontoutlet program.
The accessory and junction boxes are provided with
'Click-it' fasteners with which these can be affixed to
the assembly rail.
The separation profile (2) can be cut to length and
clicked in the assembly rail of the multi-outlet pole.
The cables should be fastened in the cable clamp that
is integrated into the ceiling bracket (7).
Earthing
Through the unique earthing principle, the cover is
automatically earthed whilst clicked into the pole,
regardless off the lenght of the cover. For the primairy
earthing of the pole you can use the earth rail besides
the C-profile.
Finishing
The aluminium multi-outlet pole MZ-6 + by Van Geel
Legrand has click covers that can be clicked into
the pole without the need for any tools. The pole is
standard executed with an opeming of 187 mm for the
installation of a 2-way or 3-way socket outlet.
If more socket outlets are placed the top cover will
extend above the pole and it may need to be shortened.
In such a case the sawed end should be deburred
properly.
After finishing the suspended ceiling the trim plate
(8) can be placed. To do this the 2 different trim plate
halves should be slid into each other around the multi-
outlet pole.
Important
These assembly instructions should be followed care-
fully. Van Geel cannot guarantee the functioning and
safety of the multi-outlet pole MZ-6 + if the instructions
are not followed in full. If one fails to assemble, install
and use the MZ-6 + according to instructions, Van Geel
Legrand is not liable for any possible consequences.

Die Aluminium-Multizapfsäule MZ-6 + von Van Geel
eignet sich für den Einbau von Steckdosen bis zu 16
A - 400 V AC Schaltern bis 16 A - 250 V AC und Data
Steckdosen.
Montage
Vor der Montage müssen zunächst der Deckel (1) aus
dem Rumpf (3) entfernt gelöst werden.
Der Einsteckfuß (4) muss auf Position gestellt werden.
Dann kann die Multizapfsäule hier vertikal eingesetzt
werden.
Der Deckenanschluss (5) wird zunächst losgeschraubt
und auseinander geschoben. Das Ausschieben des
Deckenanschlusses soll stattfinden mit dem Hebel
in aussenstehende Position (A). Dabei muss der
Deckenanschluss so weit auseinander geschoben
werden, dass die Säule zwischen Fußboden und Decke
eingeklemmt ist. Dann werden die 2 M10 Schrauben
(B) mit einem Steckschlüssel M10 fest angezogen. Als
letztes soll der Hebel (A) nach unten gedrückt werden,
so dass der Deckenbügel sich richtig aufspannt. In
dem Fall dass die Säulen neu-installieren möchten,
soll als erste der Hebel wieder hinaufgehoben werden,
damit dem Spannfeder zich entlastet. Danach können
Sie die obengenannten Hinweise wiederholen.
Der Deckenanschluss darf nie mehr als 40 cm aus der
Multizapfsäule herausragen.
Installation
Die Multizapfsäule MZ-6 + ist gemäß den geltenden
Sicherheitsvorschriften zu installieren.
Die Gerätedosen eignen sich für Steckdosen und
Schalter mit Montagebügeln oder -ringen, oder
Die Säulen MZ-6 + lässt sich kombineren mit Click-
it Gerätedosen für Steckdosen und Schalter mit
Montagebügeln oder -ringen. Montage mit unserem
Cubic 45 Frontmontageprogram gehört auch zur
Möglichkeit. Die Geräte- und Anschlussdosen sind mit
'Click-it'-Befestigungen ausgeführt, mit denen sie auf
der Montageschiene festgesetzt werden.
Das Trennprofil (2) ist gegebenenfalls maßgerecht
zurechtzuschneiden und in die Montageschiene der
Multizapfsäule einzurasten.
Die Kabel müssen in der in den Deckenanschluss (7)
integrierten Zugentlastung befestigt werden.
Schutzmaßnahme
Durch die einzigartige integrierte Deckelerdung,
wird bei dem Einrasten der Deckel eine automati-
sche Erdung erstattet, ungeachtet der Länge des
Deckels. Für die Haupt-Erdung der Säule ist eine
Erdungsschiene vorgesehen neben dem C-profil.
Endmontage
Die
Aluminium-Multizapfsäule
Geel Legrand verfügt über Einrastdeckel, die ohne
Hilfsmittel in den Rumpf einrasten. Die Säule ist
standard augestattet mit eine öffnung von 187 mm, so
dass minimal einer 2-F/3-F Steckdose einebaut wer-
den kann. Wenn mehr Steckdosen montiert werden,
ragt der oberste Deckel über den Rumpf heraus und
muss eventuell gekürzt werden. In diesem Fall muss
die Schnittkante sorgfältig entgratet werden.
Nach der Endmontage der abgehängten Decke kann
die Rosette (8) montiert werden. Zu diesem Zweck
können die beiden Hälften der Rosette passend um
die Multizapfsäule gelegt und ineinander geschoben
werden.
Wichtig
Diese Montageanleitung muss genau befolgt werden,
da Van Geel Legrand keine Garantie für die Solidität
und Sicherheit der Multizapfsäule MZ-6 + übernehmen
kann, wenn die Anleitung nicht gänzlich eingehal-
ten wurde. Falls die Multizapfsäule MZ-6 + nicht nach
den Vorschriften montiert, installiert oder angewandt
wird, ist Van Geel Legrand nicht für eventuelle Folgen

Généralités
La colonne multiprise en aluminium MZ-6 + de Van
Geel Legrand convient pour l'intégration de prises de
courant murales jusqu'à 16 A - 400 V en courant alter-
natif, d'interrupteurs jusqu'à 16 A - 250 V en courant
alternatif et de prises courant faible.
Montage
Avant de pouvoir placer la colonne, enlevez d'abord du
tronc (3) le couvercle (1). Le pied de montage (4) doit
être positioner au sol. Ensuite, la colonne multiprise
peut y être placée à la verticale. Une fois qu'il a été
dévissé, le raccord de plafond L'ouverture du plafond
doit toujours se faire avec la poignée en position haute
(A). Le raccord de plafond doit être avancé jusqu'à ce
que la colonne soit solidement fixée entre le sol et
le plafond, Après quoi, les 2 vis M10 (B) doivent être
serrées fermement à l'aide d'une clé à douille pour
M10. Ensuite, la poignée (A) sera tirée vers le bas, de
manière à obtenir une élasticité idéale du raccord. Au
cas ou la colonne doit être déplacée, il suffit de relever
la poignée en position haute, dégageant ainsi la pince
de serrage. Il suffira ensuite de répéter la manoeuvre
précédente, pour assurer à nouveau la colonne. Le
raccord de plafond ne doit jamais dépasser la colonne
multiprise de plus de 40 cm.
Installation
La colonne multiprise MZ-6 + doit être installée selon
les prescriptions de sécurité en vigueur.
Les boîtes de montage conviennent aux prises de
courant et interrupteurs avec des plaques ou des
anneaux de montage. Il est également possible de
combiner les colonnes MZ-6 + avec notre programme
de montage frontal Cubic 45. Les boîtes de montage et
de soudure sont pourvues de fixations encliquetables
permettant de les fixer sur le rail de montage. Le
profil de séparation (2) peut, le cas échéant, être scié
sur mesure et s'insérer dans le rail de montage de la
colonne multiprise.
Les câbles doivent être fixés dans le serre-câble inté-
gré au raccord de plafond (7).
Mise à la terre
Grâce à un système intégré de mise à la terre, le
couvercle est raccordé automatiquement à la terre par
simple encliquetage, quelle que soit la longueur du
couvercle (min. largeur couvercle=30mm).
Démontage
La colonne multiprise en aluminium MZ-6 + de Van
Geel Legrand est fournie avec des couvercles emboî-
tables dans le tronc sans outillage. La colonne est
fournie en standard avec une ouverture de 187 mm
destinée au montage de minimum 2 ou 3 prises de
MZ-6 +

courant. Si vous placez plusieurs prises de courant
murales, le couvercle supérieur dépassera du tronc et
devra éventuellement être raccourci. Dans ce cas, le
côté à scier doit être ébarbé.
Après la finition du faux plafond, vous pouvez placer
la rosace (8). A cet effet, les deux moitiés de la rosace
doivent être emboîtées l'une dans l'autre autour de la
colonne multiprise.
Important
Ces instructions de montage doivent être suivies de
maniëre consciencieuse. Dans le cas contraire, Van
Geel Legrand ne peut pas garantir la bonne qua-
lité et la sécurité de la colonne multiprise MZ-6 + . Van
Geel Legrand décline toute responsabilité pour les
