c) Connecting
• Connect the DC output of the power supply to the respective devices. Always pay attention
to polarity markings.
• Strip approx. 7 mm from both ends of the cables.
• Connect to the input terminals (1) as marked on the power supply.
N = neutral wire, L = phase.
• Before switching on the power supply, protection against electric shock must be established
e.g. re-attach covers in the control cabinet, etc. so that the screw clamps are covered and
only the label of the power supply is visible.
• After switching on the power supply, the LED indicator (2) will light up to show the unit is
receiving power.
d) Removing
Risk of electric shock! The device must be voltage-free before removing.
Risk of burns. Disconnect from power source and allow to cool before touching.
To remove the device from the DIN rail:
• Insert a tool such as a flat head screw driver between the rail and the device.
• Press the spring-loaded locking clip down to release, then lift the device off the DIN rail.

• Tilt the unit up and hook it over the top part of the rail.
• While hooked on, tilt the device downwards until it
hits the stop.
• Press against the rail until the locking mechanism
"clicks" over the bottom part of the rail.
• Gently check that the device is securely mounted
before letting go.

Setting the Output Voltage
The power supply unit is factory set to the nominal output voltages (12 or 24 V/DC)
depending on the voltage specification of the model. See "Technical Data".
If the cable between the power supply and the consumer unit is too long, the output voltage can
be adjusted to compensate for cable voltage drops:
• Insert a suitably sized VDE-tester screwdriver into the DC-output adjust opening V. Adj. (3).
• Adjust the voltage in small increments:
- Turn counter-clockwise to decrease the output voltage.
- Turn clockwise direction to increase the output voltage.
Set the output voltage in small steps and then measure the voltage at the consumer
with a suitable measurement device.
