Bluetooth 5.0 aptX Music receiver

Intended use
The product is used for the wireless transmission of audio signals from mobile phones, tablets,
notebooks and other devices that have a suitable Bluetooth connection. The transmission
range is up to 30 meters (line of sight). Power is supplied via the power adapter included with
the product. The product features the aptX HD (48 kHz/24 bit) codec for high-quality audio
transmission.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture
(e.g. in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the operating
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third
parties together with its operating instructions.

information. If you do not follow the safety information and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability for
any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate
the warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• This device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation that forms may destroy the product. The power
adapter may also cause a fatal electric shock! Allow the product to reach room
temperature before connecting it and putting it into use. This may take several
hours.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply. Before plugging in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on
the power adapter complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.

• Operating instructions
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable;
always use the grips on the plug.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adapter from the mains socket during
storms.
• Do not touch the power adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may
cause a fatal electric shock! Switch off the mains voltage to the socket containing
the power adapter (switch off the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the
safety fuse, and then switch off the corresponding RCD protective switch). You
can then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty
power adapter in an environmentally friendly manner and discontinue its use.
Replace it with a power adapter of the same design.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked
or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them.
This poses a risk of injury.
• Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Do not cover the casing!
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may
damage your hearing.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have any questions which are not answered in these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Connected devices
• Always observe the safety information and operating instructions of any other
devices which are connected to the product.

Setup
a) Connect audio cable or headphones
The product allows the audio signals to be reproduced at the AUDIO OUT (6) jack via a
headphone, stereo or active speaker. The music receiver is equipped with the "aptX HD"
audio codec and an optical audio output (Toslink) and can therefore play 24 bit audio. The
prerequisite for this is that your mobile device is equipped with the appropriate operating
system with appropriate support (e.g. smartphone with Android 8.0 or later).
• The product is equipped with non-slip rubber feet (7). Rubber feet may leave traces on
delicate surfaces. If necessary, protect such surfaces with a suitable base.
• Place the product on a clean and level surface.
• If you want to listen to music through headphones, connect the 3.5 mm jack plug of your
headphones to the AUDIO OUT jack.
• The product comes with a stereo audio cable with 3.5 mm jack (2) and a stereo cinch
adapter (3) with 3.5 mm jack for connecting to a stereo/speaker.
• If your stereo does not have a 3.5 mm jack, you can use the stereo cinch adapter. Connect
the white cinch plug to the white cinch jack and the red cinch plug to the red cinch jack on
your stereo/receiver.
• Plug one side of the 3.5 mm jack of the stereo audio cable into the 3.5 mm jack of the stereo
cinch adapter. Plug the other side with the 3.5 mm jack into the AUDIO OUT jack.
• You can connect a Toslink cable (not included in the delivery) to the OPTICAL (5) port.
Connect the other end of the cable to the Toslink port on your stereo.
• Switch on your stereo to the corresponding input to play the audio signals after pairing.
Follow the operating instructions of your stereo/receiver.
