The minutes are increased by 1 each time you briefly press the button. If the button is pressed for a longer period of time, the minutes will start
running faster. Release the button as soon as the correct time is shown on the display. The correct time will be set 10 seconds after the
pushbutton is released, and the replacement time will again be indicated.
Status overview (Drawing 2)
The status overview of the feed dosing periods (dP) will be displayed if you briefly press the button in the rest position. This will show you the
hour (0-23) alternating with the preset dosage. Here, you can see how many seconds of dosing are taking place per hour. Dosing is possible
between 1 and 24x per day.
Navigating through the menu (Drawing 2)
Pressing the button for 1x 3 seconds will take you to the main menu. The main menu contains 2 control menus for the different applications.
By briefly pressing the button, you will be able to navigate through these various control menus. As soon as you have reached the desired control
menu, it can be selected by again pressing the button for 3 seconds.
dP: Setting the feed dosing period.
tSEt: Setting the time.
Setting dosing time (dP) (Drawing 3)
By pressing the button 1x 3 seconds, 'dP' will appear. You can select this menu by keeping the button down for 3 seconds. In the 'dP' menu, you
will be able to select from 24 dosing positions by briefly pressing the button. This will enable you to set the number of seconds the automatic
feeder must be active for every hour of the day. As there are 24 hours in a day, you will also be able to enter the number of seconds 24 times.
These positions are linked to the real-time clock.
For example: Position 01 is 1 a.m. at night, and position 20 is 8 p.m. (20:00 hrs) in the evening.
As soon as you have reached the position (i.e. the time) you would like to select, it is possible to confirm this by again pressing the button for 3
seconds. If you then briefly press the button, you will be able to switch between 'UP' and 'dn' with the position (time) behind it. If you would
like to increase the number of seconds at midnight, you will see 'UP00' on the display.
UP: By briefly pressing the pushbutton, the timer value can be increased from 0 seconds up to a maximum value of 120 seconds in steps of 1
second. If you keep the pushbutton pressed down for 3 seconds, you will be able to continue setting the other pump positions. Ten seconds after
the pushbutton has been released, the system will start with the values you have indicated.
dn: By briefly pressing the pushbutton, the timer value can be decreased down to a minimum value of 0 seconds in steps of 1 second. If you
keep the pushbutton pressed down for 3 seconds, you will be able to continue setting the other positions. Ten seconds after the pushbutton
has been released, the system will start with the values you have indicated.
Bear in mind that some types of feed can be more easily dispersed than others; this also has to do with the size of the grains.
When using the automatic feeder for the first time, hold a small container under the feeder and check how much feed is actually
dispersed; you can then set the most appropriate feeding time.
Setting the clock (tSEt) (Drawing 4)
Pressing the button 1x 3 seconds will take you to the main menu, where first 'dP' will appear on the display. Then briefly press the button again
once, after which 'tSEt' will appear. Holding the button once again for 3 seconds will take you to the clock menu.
In this menu, it is possible to modify the hours of the day in steps of one hour by briefly pressing the button. Press the button for 3 seconds as
soon as you have reached the correct hour. You will then be able to adjust the minutes. The minutes will increase by 1 minute each time the
button is briefly pressed. If the button is pressed for a longer period of time, the minutes will start running faster. Release the button as soon
as the correct time is shown on the display. Ten seconds after the pushbutton has been released, the correct time has been entered and the
timer will be displayed again.
ATTENTION:
- The clock only operates in 24-hour format.
- Please note that the clock must be reset after there has been a power cut.
- You should therefore always ensure that the device is supplied with electricity whenever it is in use.
- Never use an additional timer.
- The display will blink after a power cut (tSet). The time will have to be reset. The set feeding times are stored permanently
