CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the

appliance to cool down.
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh
•
and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which
damages the device.
Never immerse the electrical device in water or any
•
other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The indicator light doesn't go on.
Check if the device is connected to the mains and/or that
the plug is connected in the right way to the wall socket.
Check if the on/off switch is in the on position.
The rice is too hard or becomes dry after cooking.
If the rice is still too dry or too hard when the rice cooker is
jumping to the warm setting function, more water must be
added and a longer cooking time will make the rice softer.
Add half or a whole measuring cup with water, depending
on how dry or hard the rice is. Stir the water through the
rice, close the lid and press the on
/ off button down.
Check the rice when the rice cooker returns to warm
mode, repeat the previous steps, if necessary, until the rice
is well cooked.

The rice is still too wet after cooking.
If the rice is still too wet after switching to the keep
warm function, the rice must be well stirred with the
accompanying spoon. As a result, the moist rice at the
bottom of the pan is better distributed and moisture is
released. Close the lid and let the rice for 10 to 30 minutes
on the keep warm function. Stir the rice regularly to
release the excess moisture.
