5.3 Zufallswiedergabe

Zum Beenden der Zufallswiedergabe die Taste
RANDOM erneut drücken (Anzeige: PLAY) oder mit
einer der Tasten DISC eine andere CD wählen.
6 Pflege des Gerätes
Das Gerät vor Staub, Vibrationen, direktem Sonnen-
licht, Feuchtigkeit und Hitze schützen (zulässiger
Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C). Für die Reini-
gung nur ein weiches, trockenes Tuch verwenden,
auf keinen Fall Wasser oder Chemikalien.
Hinweis zu Tonaussetzern und Lesefehlern
Zigarettenrauch dringt leicht durch alle Öffnungen
des Gerätes und setzt sich auch auf der Optik des
Laser-Abtastsystems ab. Dieser Belag kann zu
Lesefehlern und Tonaussetzern führen. Da sich
Zigarettenrauch nicht immer vermeiden lässt (z. B.
in der Diskothek), muss das Gerät dann in einer
Fachwerkstatt gereinigt werden. Diese Reinigung ist
kostenpflichtig, auch während der Garantiezeit!

5.2 Repeated playing of a title

To repeat the title presently playing, press the button
REPEAT (4) [indication: REPEAT]. It is also possible
to select another title with the buttons TRACK (2).
Thus, the repeat function is not switched off.
To switch off the repeat function, press the button
REPEAT again (indication: PLAY). The function is also
stopped when pressing one of the buttons DISC (1).
5.3 Random replay
Press the button RANDOM (9). The unit goes to a
title selected at random and continuously replays the
CD presently playing in a random order (indication:
RANDOM).
To stop the random replay, press the button
RANDOM again (indication: PLAY) or select another
CD with one of the buttons DISC.
6 Maintenance of the Unit
Protect the unit against dust, vibrations, direct sun-
light, humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C). For cleaning only use a
soft, dry cloth, never use water or chemicals.
Note on sound interruptions and reading errors
Cigarette smoke easily penetrates through all open-
ings of the unit and settles on the optics of the laser
system. This deposit may cause reading errors and
sound interruptions. As cigarette smoke cannot
always be avoided (e. g. in a discothèque), the unit
must in this case be cleaned by authorized person-
nel. There is a charge on this cleaning, even during
the warranty time!
