Embossing with metal embossing
templates
Kars will soon introduce a special mat for the
Cuttlebug so that you can use metal Embos-
sing templates in the Cuttlebug. This will not
be standard supply for the machine and will
need to be ordered separately.
Until then you can do the following so that
you can use your metal Embossing templates
with the Cuttlebug.
Method / manner of stacking before run-
ning everything through the Cuttlebug
• Plate A (on the bottom)
• Transparent sheet
• Plate C
• Embossing template
• Paper
• Foam rubber mat (no. 116252/0001 to 0032)
• Plate B (on top)
If you stack as described here you will get a
very clear image. What you need to consider
is the fact that after a while the foam rubber
mat will loose its elasticity and will have to be
replaced.

Embossen mit metallenen Embossing-
schablonen
KARS liefert in Kürze für den Cuttelbug eine
Spezialmatte, die das Embossen mit metal-
lenen Embossingschablonen ermöglicht. Diese
Matte wird nicht standardmäßig mit dem Gerät
geliefert!
Bis diese Matte lieferbar ist, können Sie in
folgender Weise mit Ihren metallenen Embos-
singschablonen verfahren.
Arbeitsweise bzw. Anordnung der unter-
schiedlichen Lagen, bevor Sie sie durch das
Gerät schieben:
• Schneidematte A (unten)
• transparentes Blatt
• Schneidematte C
• Embossingschablone
• Papier
• Moosgummiplatte (Art.-Nr. 116252/0001 bis
einschließlich -/0032)
• Schneidematte B (oben)
Wenn Sie auf diese Weise vorgehen, erhalten
Sie eine notwendigerweise sehr stramme Ein-
heit. Sie müssen hierbei allerdings berücksich-
tigen, dass die Gummimatte im Laufe der Zeit
ihre Widerstandskraft verliert und erneuert
werden muss.
