7. Commissioning
The device can be operated either using
batteries or a power supply unit.
7.1 Insert batteries
1. Loosen fastening screws
2. Open housing cover
3. Insert batteries
4. Close housing cover
5. Tighten fastening screws
7.2 Connect power supply unit
1. Insert plug on back of housing
2. Insert power supply plug
7.3 Functional check
After applying supply voltage, a reverse rinsing is trig-
gered. The desired reverse rinsing interval can then be
set.
7.4 Set the reverse rinsing interval
The reverse rinsing interval can be set to 8
different intervals
The selection of the interval depends on the
degree of soiling of the water.

1. Turn setting knob to the desired reverse rinsing
interval
o Selection is confirmed by the flashing frequency
of the LED
o Directly after setting the reverse rinsing interval,
an automatic reverse rinsing is triggered

8. Maintenance

Battery display
LED – flashes when voltage is under 3.6V
8.1 Batteries
The batteries must be replaced after no more
than 12 months
It is recommended to use high quality, long life
(AA) batteries.

4. Close housing cover
5. Tighten fastening screws
8.2 Ball valve
Check regularly that the drain ball valve can
move freely.
8.3 Cleaning
Use only cold, clear drinkink water to clean the
synthetic material surfaces.
